  1. Thrills, heritage, and innovation meet on track. We @Hedley Bennett (HB46443) - Club Chairman , @Rob Hunter - Club Secretary & the brand-new Westfield Se.NA R-T at Bicester Heritage for its first public test session, An exclusive opportunity to experience the next chapter of Westfield performance. Back-to-back drives with the legendary SeiW Zetec reminded us just how far we’ve come, while a sneak peek at the upcoming Westfield XV showcased where we’re headed. From the XI that started it all in 1982 to the cutting-edge Se.NA, the spirit of Westfield engineering lives on, faster, sharper, and more refined than ever. I didn't take to many images myself, the occasion was like being in a sweet shop! Big thanks to @Westfield Chesil Limited. Look out for the Magazine articles from the press.

  3. Hello everybody, just aquired a 2018 factory built AeroRace with Zetec Power. Intend to run it purely for Track Days for my son. Also run a Mx5 Zsport. Pembrey and Llandow are our local circuits, with hopefully excursions further afield as well. Looking forward to benefitting from the knowledge that abounds here and joining in where I can.

  4. A little bit of miscommunication meant that we didn't meet up with Tim for the drive up to GBS, but we met there instead. Both Tim Lawton and Andrew Clarke had to leave early due to other commitments, so that left us and my friend Mark to head to the cafe for lunch. After an excellent lunch, Mark made his own way home in his BMW, whilst we headed out to the 'On Freedom's Wings', Lancaster memorial just off the A46. We took some pics from the viewing point in the nearby road. It looked fantastic in the sunshine!

  5. Ok, thanks for the education, much appreciated. I don't have a water rail on my blacktop then, but then I don't think it's fittable to mine as I have a turbo in the way? I don't have the plastic thermostat housing either, I've got an aluminium upgraded part.

  6. Yes, pretty much identical block to my ST170 👍 I have the thermostat housing for sale too if you decide to go for it 😉

  7. It neatens up the top hose plumbing bringing it to the front of the engine, and replaces the original plastic thermostat housing which can become brittle with age and crack. Looks pretty, too!

  8. I passed there a couple of weeks ago on the way to Norfolk. Couldn't get close enough for decent photos.

  11. The water rail modification on the zetec, essentially removes the long "hockey stick" 90 degree hose from the thermostat housing on back of the engine (in rear wheel drive applications) to the radiator in the nose. The Zetec plastic thermostat housing is a bit fragile (becomes brittle with repeated heat cycles) and replacements are hard to find so its a common modification. Here's a water rail from Burtons

  12. A former member who owned one described driving it like having Kiera Knightley sitting in your lap, asking you to spank her - because she liked it.
