Engine and gearbox out! Was planning on leaving the engine in, but needed a few mm extra to for the gearbox to clear the clutch plate. In the end I pulled it all out. Not the easiest on your own with a trolley jack but got there in the end! Committed now to a full chassis refresh, fix some rust, have a few extra bars welded in, etc etc etcccccccc.... And get rid of the rats nest thats the wiring loom. The list continues to grow!!

Just a follow up to your kind suggestion - I changed the tie rods to enable the "proper fitting" of the rack Thanks so much for that advice. I've also now had the 4 wheel alignment done and ride height adjustment.1 point

I've found AI to be wrong quite often, it is nowhere near perfect yet. I'm gonna start my own, it'll be called ChatS**T1 point
