  2. A sign of the times I'm afraid..... A factory built Caterham 420 SV to a similar specification is well north of £60k these days! It won't do our own residual values any harm though

  3. Okay, I might be bombarding you with my MNR Vortx CBR 1000RR onboards, but here’s one more – finally with proper speed and G‑force data from Racebox mini, and the sound actually works I’m sharing these because I’m thrilled that the MNR I built in my garage handles the track so well and just works. Still open diff 3.38 - Inside wheel spinning on exits (waiting for Gripper LSD plate diff 50/80 ramps , 40 Nm preload fitted to 3.62. F+R slick tyres 200/540/13

  8. One of the car dealers who I know near me opened up a NE Caterham dealership this year, I knew Caterhams were expensive by near fell of my chair at today's prices. But as you've said Rob, sign of todays times.

  9. Hang on, 'we'? That means one can look after the young one(s) and the other can drive a Westfield right? 😁

  11. That looks great fun and sounds amazing! @ben1975 has a bike engined MNR and it has an amazing chassis. Such sad news recently about Marc Nordens passing, hopefully the company will carry on in his memory

  12. It will be interesting to see the difference when you have fitted lsd the car seems to handle better than I thought it might with open diff you should have loads more traction coming out of the corners less wheelspin but maybe a little more sideways stuff going on which is typical of rearwheel drive with lsd and lots of power and no traction control.

  15. Sadly, not. I've got a 'trot round the pots' - my 13th Potters arf. I'm also sorry to advise that I'm hoping for rain! If I'm wrong, have a great day and I'll hope to see you all soon.

  22. Yes David, eventually. They were awful to deal with, absolutely shocking and it took two formal complaints to get anywhere with them. I think things might've been different if the car had been recovered and then stored in a yard, instead of me bringing it home. Been quite stressful, so glad it's over. Thanks.
