  1. New exhaust can and 200 cell sports cat link pipe (for MOT). Fantastic service from Wunoff, who also threw in a non-cat link pipe free of charge.

  18. Yes, a shiny Β£15 titanium bolt πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I did try and find a "normal" bolt but it has a 1/8 BSPT thread and nobody seems to do one with a large enough head to hold the o-ring in place πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

  19. Hmmm, I don't think so. To be honest I didn't really get time to have a good look - just pulled them out of the box in excitement to snap a photo, so the bracket may well be at the bottom. My current system uses one of those U-shaped exhaust brackets bolted to a piece of flat bar which is attached to the bobbin. I'll check in the box later and if not will get back in touch with Mark

  20. I find myself perturbed by the lack of orange cars tbh. Was this a nice slow run then? πŸ˜‚ I'm kidding of course. Always a great turn out whenever Julie organises anything. What's it the younger people say these days, 'I'm well jel' ?

  21. It's been a phenomenal summer and today, the last day of summer, it finished on a high. Sunshine all day long with 2 minutes of rain while we were inside having lunch, what weather we have had this year! We all met at Quackers and sat on the sun terrace It's in a beautiful setting with views over the gardens and catches the sun all day long, great for warming us up after our journey's. Parked at Quackers We went on a great run out around the Peak District, on a mixture of going through pretty villages and then onto empty country lanes away from any tourists. It was the last day of the Well Dressing in Wormhill and the home baked cakes in the village hall needed to be eaten. Lemon and blueberry cake was so popular we ate the lot...... The ladies were one step ahead of us lot, the reserves were fetched from out of the kitchen, so we didn't have to fight for it All still friends in Wormhill Village Hall Parked in Wormhill, a beautiful, tiny village in the middle of the Peak District, far from anywhere The Well Dressing The Childrens Well was everyone's favourite, well who doesn't like Paddington Bear, if you excuse the pun. Love the marmalade sandwiches and paw prints around the border. Ian kept the Church guard dog at bay More driving to follow in the wonderful countryside, it's starting to take a green tinge back on now we have had a spot of rain last week. After eating all that cake we were hungry (were we?) and so for lunch we went, to The Cow Shed, Tideswell. We covered the cars up and there was a few spots of rain while we were inside. Becky was fancying beef Inside the Cow Shed More!! You all want more? Ruddy Oliver Twist here, ok we will go on, well the sun is still shining so why rush off home? The Chatsworth Kitchen More cake even, are we sharing Mr 2 Spoons? And so the day ended, along with meterological summer, in glorious sunshine. The cars looking fabulous, all running well and lots of happy owners, what an amazing hobby we have, we are so very, very lucky x

  22. Due to an increasing Labrador family, and hence the need to have a β€˜practical’ 2nd car, I have had to make the painful decision to part with my much-loved Westfield. This is a factory-built car that I bought through Westfield as a 2nd owner. Vehicle registered new in 2001, I purchased in 2003 and it has been with me ever since. Jenvey / Dunnell engine upgrades all undertaken by Noble Motorsports at Chesterfield. Rolling road results (Northampton Motorsport) gave 187 BHP with the original β€˜restrictive’ Westfield exhaust manifold fitted; this has since been upgraded to the Dunnell manifold (new BHP and Torque figures unknown!) Mileage is genuine and only 19,672 (full record of all MOT’s, receipts, etc) Most recent MOT undertaken in July ’25 (no advisory’s) along with full wheel alignment geometry checks / adjustments undertaken by Track Torque (Tockwith), along with rear wheel bearing replacements. This car has been meticulously maintained throughout my ownership, as demonstrated by the specification below. The bodywork has some crazing in the fibreglass as you’d expect for a Westfield of this age. Don’t really want to sell, but given I’m going to have to, I’d like it to stay within the WSCC if possible. Β£12,800 ono The car is located near York. Contact Martin for any enquiries mburge@sky.com Specification - Zetec 1800 engine, supplied new by Westfield Pipercross Air Filter (C603D) Jenvey Throttle bodies Dunnell Inlet Manifolds Dunnell Gas Flowed Cylinder Head Kent Cams Vernier Cam Pulleys Dunnell ZRV Camshafts ARP Rod Bolts Odyssey AGM Battery Magnecor HT Leads FSE Power Boost Valve Dunnell RMP 1960 4:1 Exhaust Manifold (non CAT) Wunnoff Repackable Exhaust Silencer Raceline Shallow Sump Gaz adjustable Monotube Dampers and Springs MBE Mappable ECU Engine Management Shift light (set @6800 rpm) 15” Team Dynamics Alloys with Toyo R888’s Ferodo Fast Road / Race Brake Pads all round Ducted nosecone Upgraded 4” Headlights Carbon effect Cycle Wings Carbon effect Stone Guards Carbon effect Rear Light Set Lockable Boot Westfield bespoke Fuel Tank with integral β€˜Swirl Pot’ VDO Gauges Car will be supplied with – Original Westfield exhaust system (Integral CAT in silencer) Sidescreens, Roof Frame and Roof (I’ve only used twice) Internal Car Cover Original Westfield Dampers and springs Spare Wheel (never used), along with carrier. 23. I believe this car will be known to many of you in the group. I’m selling as the car is just not getting used, I was doing a few track days with my son who’s now left home, and I’ve downsized and need the garage space for an upcoming house renovation. It flew through the MOT recently, no advisories. I bought the car in April 2023 when the mileage was around 28.5 and it’s now just over 30 (shows how little use it’s getting…). I’ve done some sunshine road driving and a few track days. I haven’t driven lots of different cars on track to be able to compare, but I can verify that this car is beautifully set-up and lots of fun. Looks and drives like a track car but the suspension is adjustable and is as much at home on the road as on the track. Wife even comes out with the dog on her lap. Always garaged, it’s been well looked after, frequent oil changes and a recent gearbox oil change. Not been on rolling road but estimated 210bhp. Weighs approx. 575kg. Reconditioned engine, new crankshaft, cam upgrade, swirl pot (to prevent fuel starvation when cornering on track), brake bias valve, some head work to help with air flow, oil cooler kit, Raceline sump, Simpson race can and manifold (huge can, but quiet), Playskool full cage with welded in side bars, JK fibreglass seats with pads and carbon fibre inserts including bases on runners, Carbon mods aero screen, carbon fibre front cycle wings, Willwood front brake callipers and drilled / grooved disks, quick release steering wheel, three sets of wheels - Minilite type replicas with 888's, a nice set of Compomotive CRX wheels with tyres which look to be about road legal but plenty left for track days, and a crappy set of Alleycats with some very and I mean very old Nankang tyres on - the wheels are rough and the tyres need destroying unless you are doing a drift day, V8 bonnet fitted to car, spare standard bonnet , carbon fibre dash , viscous slippy diff, gel battery (fitted in the nosecone), ingenious towing modification, curved rear view mirror on cage, SPA mirrors (central and side), lowered floor (fine for 6”2’), carbon fibre side screens, Procomp adjustable shocks/springs and front anti roll bar (not the Westfield one that has been known to damage the chassis), spare windscreen, side screens, wiper motor and washer bottle, Racelidz 4 point harness (they are five point but only 4 fitted but the groin belts to include in sale - seats have the holes for the 5th belt), high level cage mounted brake light. Car fully setup and corner weighted by Procomp. I can’t take any credit for the above and the fabulous set-up of this car. That was all the previous owner – more info here:- https://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/topic/144169-chrome-yellow-sport-2000-car-sold/#comment-1527438 Car is in East Sussex TN32 5QS. I can take you for a spin. You can drive if you show me insurance. Β£14,500

  31. Silverstone do a drift experience in Caterhams . When I did it on a quiet day, talking to the instructors we turned it into a skills session as no one else had booked onto the course. Got some one on one tuition in a 1.8 Zetec Caterham. Ended up learning how to do doughnuts.

  35. As @Rusty Nuts says, the Curborough guys are great. I did one of the "Introduction to Sprinting" sessions there a couple of years ago. Very informative and enjoyable, I had some laps as a passenger in the instructors stripped Clio 182 before taking him out in my Westfield to get some tips. There's always help on here too, for instance @Alex Gaskin volunteered (well, maybe I nagged him a little!) to give me a few pointers round Donington which was brilliant as he is a very competitive driver in the Sprint Series. The circuit was damp and I was on semi slicks but it was really useful to get his feedback on my driving (although I did take him for a trip to the very scenic beach at Coppice at one point πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚).

  36. I'll have a look at them, thanks. For upgraded parts, I tend to mainly use Tegiwa although have just bought a titanium VTEC pressure switch delete from Exo Racing as my current switch (not used on our standalone ECU's) has started to weep.... I've also got a VTEC solenoid seal kit on the way as I may as well change that while I'm under the bonnet with my hammers πŸ˜‚
