  1. Another excellent gathering last night. It was great to catch up with everyone.

  2. In my experience anything other than a manufacturers warranty is a waste of money and you’re better off simply putting the same money aside each year for any unexpected repairs. It’s worth checking in detail what components are covered and whether this just includes failure or also intermittent fault, as many independents don’t cover the latter. I’ve had a few claims denied in the past for leaking oil seals and sensors etc that are out of calibration and misreading but because the component hasn’t physically failed the cost hasn’t been covered.

  7. That's a shame, I do like a Tillett seat, used them karting for decades.

  8. No dimensions given but may be worth asking for them if they look right for you. Cheap enough. https://ebay.us/m/7OeU3E

  9. Rare as hen’s teeth now but worth a trawl for Richfield RX777 seats on FleaBay, etc. which is what I have in my narrow. I found the Inatrim seats to be overly side bolstered for my retired torso, personally. Whatever seats you decide on, sit in them before you commit!!!

  10. I was thinking low seats to keep the cover over the tub as in the below. You're right with head rests and was thinking of building some that attach to the roll bar.

  11. Looks like they make them to any size too and obviously without the Tiger logo...

  12. Cheers. Looks a good site that too thanks. Probably look for a low back seat so the rain cover goes over them.

  15. Android tablet so it can be used for anything really. Im just using it to monitor the sensors that are used for the engine protection feature of the ECU so if protection kicks in I can easily see why.

  19. The intake on my car is infront the block behind the radiator. My turbo is mounted under the manifold so the intake is relatively low compared to yours.

  20. Interesting, where have you placed your cold air intake? I'm always interested in how other turbo cars are done differently to mine. I'm in a similar situation atm though! Started to do one job, then decided may as well do as many as I can given September is closing in.

  21. Maybe a bit early, but the winter strip down and refresh has begun! Few changes to be made, hopefully next time it comes out the garage in one piece she will be more of a machine! 😁

  23. God I hate that when you can't stay with the car, I actually get anxiety most times, pacing around like an expectant father. Luckily my usual MOT guy actually wants me to stay sat in the car! Unfortunately he's flipping retired 😭 View from up top of the 4 post lift last MOT 😂😂 I'll probably never get to do that again 😥

  26. Yes its nice to stay with your car whilst getting my megablade mot done i was asked to go in the waiting room until I heard this alarming revving, crunching and grinding noise coming from the workshop so I rushed in to find a young lad who looked about 14 trying to work out how to use the westfield reverse gearbox so I promptly turned the key of and asked him to remove himself from the car and he agreed maybe it would be better if I done the brake test outside it passed
