I'll put money on it being a tuned 2L Duratec (maybe by Cosworth from a rumour I've heard, so far from concrete), and brand new engines too, as I believe the factory need to be able to produce 100% new vehicles. Otherwise, I can only agree with others expressing their disappointment at how little the club have been told about this ahead of the preview. I understand that existing owners maybe make a poor target audience for selling a new car, but there's a lot of value in word of mouth and opinion. I'm still waiting on the new XI that was supposed to be here last year as well!3 points

Unfortunately you couldn’t see the cover/obstacle when dark! Leaving the Stoneleigh tent late that year was fun. Too many beers. We also meet the WSCC horse that year too!2 points

I'll have a good look tomorrow 👍2 points

The original brief the factory gave was for the top engine option to be ~2 litre, 16 valve, high reving 8k plus, or thereabouts and NA. Be interesting to see how much, if any of that’s been carried through.2 points

Just seen the post from Westfield re the launch of new model. Did we not get a sneak peak as promised at Malvern after all? 👀 excited to see what is coming… Tickets1 point

This year's Annual Service will be at Bicester Heritage on the 9th August, from 9.00 - 16.00. There's usually a good turn out of various cars, and this year at least one Westfield will be on display. For reasons that I can't quite explain, my XI has been selected to be on display in the Exotics and Rarities section. Should you be passing, I'll be the tall, scruffy looking fellow stood near it.1 point

In our usual inimitable fashion, just as the car is ready to collect, we’re off on holiday for a week 🙄 However, I should have the four post lift fully installed and working by the end of Sunday 🤞1 point

From Manchester it's all of 17 miles further to Malvern than Stoneleigh.....1 point

Well… it seems to have an engine… Would have been nice to have had a representative of the club invited - but after Nigel’s reception at the tent in Malvern, I imagine that invite might have got flushed down the lav.1 point

It's got an air intake in the bonnet. Please be supercharged 🤣1 point

They didn't likely move through choice. Have you been to either of the Malvern shows @tex ? I doubt they did it to 'exclude most of the country'. If they'd moved to the Isle of Wight or the Shetlands, I'd support your view!1 point
