  4. Yesterday was epic — six sessions, 15 minutes each, proper time attack fun. Car felt great after some recent tweaks (brake pump and geometry mods doing their job!). Came into today feeling good (started on hot tyes - thaks to aliexpress tyre blankets , confident from start slicks , had a solid sprint… and then on end of second sprint , well — a little off, snapped a wishbone. Nothing major, just didn’t have a spare one at the track. Weekend cut a bit short, but still a blast overall. No complaints (poor sound - exept for spare wishbones, fogot Gopro adapter for external mic )

  5. I always wore a lid in mine even if it was a trip to the shops - just felt “wrong” the one and only time I actually tried the car without one - for about 100m, pulled over and put the lid back on! Maybe riding bikes for 30+ years had something to do with it 😁

  6. I moved from an exo skeleton with roll bar. To a caged westfield, for taking my kids out in it. I feel more comfortable out in it with them, seeing them strapped in under the cage. We wear helmets if going for a proper drive, but if its just a quick street cruise, then its sun glasses 😎

  7. Same! Must admit, I do miss the old Asbo at times. Fabulous little car, very quick and handled soooo unbelievably well.

  17. Most of you will be aware that there are several membership packages available, primarily with and without posted printed magazines. Whatever membership package you have, if you want to switch it at renewal time, this is what to do: 1. IMPORTANT: Let your existing membership package expire first - you’ll see a big red banner at the top of the screen when that happens 2. Once it expires, log in to the forums as usual 3. Click twice on the Store tab (directly under the WSCC logo at the top of the page) to open up the available choices 4. Click on WSCC Membership 5. Chose the new membership package you now want, then follow the steps through to online payment That’s it!

  18. To round this thread off, I thought I would share a few pictures of Mum’s 90th party. Why you say? Because the legend that is Colin Homewood drove 93 year old Dottie up from Dawlish to drive Mum and Dad to the party. Mum used to be driven around by a boyfriend or two in Austin 7s, so Dottie the Austin 10 was perfect for the occasion. Huge thanks to Colin and Dottie for making Mum’s day!

  21. Well after a week of EV ownership I felt the need to clense the sole and have a blast in the westy(well had a few little errands to run) thought it felt a little loose just the last mile or so. Parking up to go to pets at home and discovered the reason. Big thanks to the Aa man for sorting me and getting me home. New tyre required
