Thanks to @Robin Parker (Red Spider) - Yorkshire AO @tuonokid58 & @Tony R for coming to the Carding Shed (Oil Can Cafe). I'm sorry to advise we didn't dine together there as they were shut! They no longer open on Mon and Tue! Robin had a bright idea to visit the Motorist (via @Marcus Barlow - Show and Events Co-ordinator)'s house.3 points

So from work we get a quarterly "wellness allowance". Meant for home office niceties, gym subscriptions, fitness equipment etc. You get the idea. I managed to sneak these through as "gym trainers", in a fetching shade of Westfield blue to match the car. Just right for the treadmill, or a small pedal box, whichever seems more appropriate! 🤣🫣🤫2 points

I wouldn't; you could loose the cars identity, for a road car you would then need to IVA again, which could all get very complicated. If the factory supplies the chassis, they can ensure destruction of the old one, and issue it on the same VIN number, not something any other company should really be legally doing.. If it doesn't have clear Westfield provenance in the form of invoices, AND looks different to a stock chassis, you may then get hammered on price when ever you eventually want to sell...1 point

I was thinking of hiring Curborough for a half day for myself but could join this if numbers are low and you need more cars to make it viable. Date dependant of course .. we have lots planned already over the next 3 to 4 months1 point

WOW what a great trip !!!!! Many thanks to all the guys and gals that make these trips an unbelievable experience , it makes the WSCC the greatest club in the world. Here’s a few pics from our travels ……. Compulsory McDonald’s muffin to start the day then we met @ianaliand @Andy Westwood at Ashbourne to follow last years Long way North tour up to the A65 and then head into the lakes but Andy’s car was having other ideas !!!!!! he decide to quit and make a run for home to swap to the SLK and meet us later , we carried on getting lost a couple of times and finding road closures 🙄 but still found some nice roads but then the rain turned up after a couple of diversions and re routes ( this was one of them) we decided to quit the nice roads and make a run for the hotel via the M6, the view from Ian and Ali’s car Well we got there and parked up with the others and started to dry out, Mr Westwood’s SLK was sat all alone but he did look rather dry sat in the pub 🤔 Look some blue sky 😎 some lovely roads and scenery from the day A lake somewhere (we know why there’s so many 🤣) quiet roads top of a mountain somewhere ( @Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative will tell me which one 😜) we stopped for a drink and I parked in the charging bay so I thought I’d give it ago , Westfield do electric cars … but mine isn’t back to chasing the sunshine and a big shout out to the crazy gang who we’ve met through the mighty WSCC next year can we go away from GREEN we need a nice bright colour like ORANGE 🤪 Thanks again @Marcus Barlow - Show and Events Co-ordinator and @Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative and the others for making this tour happen, love to you all Andy & Becky1 point

Day 3 pic of the day. Day 4 Decided to have a relaxing morning and a few drives. Relax and taste some of the local cultures around the pateley bridge area. Mostly ciders and cakes 🤪.We really loved the yorkshire area and the people. I think we enjoyed days 1 to 3 so much we tired ourselves out. A few pics of our chilled out day before our ride home. All the nitty gritty will be in a big write up for the magazine. The friendly cow who I will miss and his mates who I won't as they kept stopping us leave the barn we were staying in.1 point

Unfortunately this show has been cancelled please see information below from show organisers: ''Lincoln Kit Car Show Dear Exhibitor, It is with great regret that we announce that the Lincoln Kit Car Show has been cancelled. We had hoped that the move from Newark to Lincoln would have been a good one for the show but unfortunately there has not been enough interest from trade to justify running the show. We will still be running the National Kit Car Show in Malvern and look forward to welcoming you there next year on 30-31 May 2026. Kind regards, Grosvenor Shows Ltd''0 points
