Just been out for my first drive, a 10 miles shakedown. Running quite well, although the no fuel level showing. A positive start!

Now fixed and back on the car! Warmed the car up and just checked for drips and so far dry. This bodes well 🏎️

A few from today's run with some MK's, around Windermere. A wee 350 miler, think we can say the new tyres are scrubbed in now.

When you go into the museum, do they give you highly detailed directions and then at the end, tell you that exiting is the reverse of going in?

As many of you are aware. Our East Anglian area is very flat indeed and the only thing that we look up too is not mountains but carrot tops. After just completing malvern kit car show, 3 of our cars are embarking on a trip to Robins good old Yorkshire for 5 days. We will be visiting many places as well as tasting the local cuisine from the 10th -15th june. Our aims to have some fun and do some spirited driving at times plus not get chucked out of Yorkshire. We will be based in Pateley Bridge and go from there on. We will be updating our progress as we go and hopefully the weather will be nice. Watch those ferrets Robin. The carrot crunchers are coming to town.

Hi everyone. Some of you have already interacted with me and kindly shared loads of advice to my questions. For the rest of you, ive had my Westy for 2 weeks now and due to this great forum, ive probably learned more in that time than any knowledge ive gained over my lifetime. Id wanted a seven style car for many years and finally found one that I felt had my name on it. All of you can probably relate to the sheer joy i feel when driving her. Its like being on a track everytime im driving. Ive also become obsessive at trolling through these forums reading up on anything i can learn. What a great group of people you are and my sincerest gratitude to all that have and will help me so far.

Went to Classcicauto Cup event with my son and ex-Cup Alfa Romeo 156 2.0 TS car (well slightly modificata e allegheritta )Alfa Romeo 156 (Cup 156 series in 2000 .. yrs racing series ) on one of the tracks this car was racing wheel to wheel with other 156 Cup. With quite good results 1st italian cars , 1st in racing / rally legend cars and some 2nd and 4 in other Classes Edit From inside :

If that's a standard thin steel sump, whoever welded it did a good job, they are not easy to weld at all

Hello. I'm the Yorkshire AO. We have 2 regular meetings each month. An evening one at The Buffers, Rakehill Road, Scholes, LS15 4AL from 7:30ish on the first Tuesday of the month (you've just missed the June one). And a breakfast meeting on the 3rd Sunday at The Darrington Hotel, Darrington, Pontefract, WF8 3BL from 10am. We are also attending a show this Sunday, 8TH June at Rothwell.
