Westfield SEIW – 1996 kit, registered 01 May 1997 Complete nut and bolt rebuild 2015 – 2017, back to bear chassis re powder coat etc Folder full of receipts going back to 1996 when car was purchased from Westfield. Very little use since, has only been used for springs and very few road miles. The car is an absolutely stunning build, the quality and attention to detail are second to none in my opinion. Its a proper ground up professionally built car. I have been around westfields on and off for several years and not seen one anywhere near as nicely built. The car was built for sprints and hillclimbs but i have added some parts to make it useable for trackdays such as a larger fuel tank and oil cooler and added a passenger seat, i still have the smaller fuel tank and pipework to not run the oil cooler if someone was wanting to use it for sprints again and be as light as possible. The car has just been for a full health check at northampton motorsport after a small running issue which turned out to be the fuel pump, this included also- map check, compression check, bore scope and all found to be in excellent condition with paperwork saying so. Ironically it's the most impractical car I've ever owned, however last year i drove more miles than the previous two fun cars, GR Yaris and M2. Must be something in it...2 points

Everyone's circumstances are different, but i get out in mine as often as I can weather permitting. I also have a slightly modified Mx5, but this thing is totally different, much rawer and communicative, makes the Mx5 feel soft. So I really crave drives in the Westfield and every drive is special. Another great aspect is when your not actually driving, they are easy to tinker with and I enjoy that, well when things to to plan I do. Depending on where you are, there may be other owners to drive with and that makes a massive difference. I think you're making the right decision, just spent 2hrs today helping my mate trace electrical issues with his self build MK. The fact it's a chopped up old mx5 wiring loom just adds issues. Nows a good time to get one, that's me 1 year of ownership and some brilliant drives. I should add, it's a brilliant community, lots of help and advice on hand and even a few jokers about @Flying Carrot Steve2 points

(Both on runners) Built for the Ultimate Road and Track Experience The goal was simple: create a car that’s perfect for road trips—capable of being driven to the track, enjoyed all day, and then comfortably driven home. By focusing on weight reduction throughout the build, the car retains exceptional handling and delivers a superb driving experience. Countless hours of development and fine-tuning on the dyno have resulted in a car that’s incredibly fast yet remarkably smooth and easy to drive. It cruises effortlessly and responds with precision, a testament to the quality and attention to detail invested in the build—truly second to none. In 2019/20, the car underwent a full, chassis-up ‘nut and bolt’ rebuild. During this process, the chassis was heavily modified and reinforced, especially around the rear end and differential, to handle increased torque. Additional strengthening was applied to the front suspension area. Lowered steel floors were installed, and the entire chassis was shot-blasted and powder-coated in satin black—effectively making the car like new. The track width is approximately 160mm wider than a standard SEIW. The car has covered 14,500 miles since. chassis was registered in 2003. Registered on a Q plate, the car is exempt from emissions testing at MOT, meaning a cat is not required. This also provides greater flexibility for tuning the fuel and ignition system to achieve optimal performance. The car comes in 2 colours! The fibreglass is ford stealth grey (see pics) which is currently professionally wrapped in stunning Hexis ‘Wasabi green’ £25.5k Located in fife Scotland1 point

Dear car enthusiasts, My name is Tim, I am 35 years old and live in the Leuven region, Belgium. Since childhood, I have had a soft spot for lightweight sports cars. So at 25, I fulfilled a dream for myself by buying a Lotus Exige. A fantastic period followed during which I was active in the Lotus scene. During those years, I regularly came across Caterhams and other Super 7 models - cars that managed to fascinate me time and again with their pure driving experience and unique looks. After a difficult goodbye to the Exige came another big adventure: an intensive home renovation. But still the itch remained. The passion for sports cars and the desire to take fun trips again kept lurking in the background. Recently I stumbled upon a Westfield that had been for sale for a while. At first sight, it did not immediately appeal to me: RHD and in terms of looks not quite my cup of tea. But after some thought and negotiation, I decided to take the plunge. I see it as a project I can put my passion into again - step by step I want to turn this Westfield into something beautiful. I am looking forward to sharing experiences, getting tips and who knows, one day hitting the road together! Car Greetings, Tim My ex-Lotus: - 2011 Lotus Exige S Roger Becker Special Edition - Roger Becker numbered plate No 84 out of 200 worldwide - Roger Becker signature on side car - Aspen White - Full option package includes: Sport + Touring + Performance + Blackstyle Pack 1.8L Supercharged 2ZZ engine 6-speed S gearbox Lotus variable slip traction control system (LTCS) Torque-sensitive limited slip differential (LSD) Pumped clutch plate and cover Dual oil coolers Lotus Launch Control ABS with power brakes Lotus Performance Stage II Exhaust Larini De-Cat pipe Translated with DeepL.com (free version)1 point

Can you please get your facts straight. It was just Ali that made ‘us all’ walk to the lighthouse! Luckily, as far as I know, they have none in the Lake District.1 point

Renewed with Howden yet again after searching around and having a ding-dong bad experience with Adrian Flux. Always impressed with how friendly and knowledgeable they are at A-Plan-den (sorry, been with A-Plan too long to change to Howden completely!). Thanks to the team for your help. (They offered me a much cheaper policy than Highway with a company called MarkerStudy. It seemed too good to be true at that price, so I looked them up on TrustPilot - let's just say that even with Howden's team in place, MarkerStudy's very poor reputation was sufficient for me to pay extra for Highway.)1 point
