Managed a nice long test drive this afternoon after fixing my air temp sensor which was giving me hot start problems. Beautiful day for it and I think the problem is fixed!

Just back from Palmersport.. had a good day..they have a new addition to their line up...

Have a look on the Palmersport site..shows all the cars.. But they were all pretty mean cars.. also Gineta which was probably my favourite, the Caterham which was awesome and out of a group of sixty I came second by 0.01 of a second.. which was annoying.. all had instructor with you encouraging you to push hard.. Was usual Palmer day..really well run, great cars, great people great organisation and great food..but not cheap. I was invited my one of my great suppliers at work..

Honestly the pictures don't do it justice, especially the view over to the Hebrides from Flora Mac Donald's grave. I'm off to the Hebrides next month and hoping for the same weather 🙏

Just back for an overnighter on the Isle of Skye, enjoying the good weather and roads. Never been to the very North of the island before and the Outer Hebrides were almost in touching distance.

Been gathering insurance quotations for The Wench, contacting the usual suspects. While out and about, the phone rang and I diverted it to voicemail, which was automatically sent to me as a text message. Turned out to be from Adrian Flux - I think…

Packed and ready for the off tomorrow at 7.15am; weekend trip to Land’s End with five cars, and hopefully meeting a few more on the way 👍

Thanks mate. It's a blacktop Zetec, omex throttle bodies. I think the air temp sensor is part of the omex throttle body kit, was a simple fix to reroute it and it now seems fine. A lot of fuss and headache for such as small part!

Glad you got it sorted now mate. It's great when a niggling little fault that is spoiling everything gets solved, especially if it's simple and virtually cost free. I can't recall which engine you have, Honda isn't it?

Yep..about eight laps being pushed by an instructor...that was our first car if the day so a nice way to warm up!

Holme Moss summit on way home from our Peak District and Yorkshire Dales weekender. 600mls covered and not a bit of it on a Motorway. Blessed with fantastic weather and brilliant roads.

went to mk's open day yesterday purchased a billet gear lever for my megablade not a straightfoward fit as i hoped had to fabricate new mounts but it was worth it tight smooth shift now

My 1st attempt at polishing stainless steel. The manifold was all the dark tarnished colour before and the silencer pipe and end cap weren't quite so bad. Started with 120 grit and moved through to 2500 grit before polishing. About 7 hours in total to complete.

It was great, though overrun with foreign tourists in hire cars.
