  4. Good meet at Haynes Breakfast Club this morning. We met at Podimore before driving in for 8am. A total of twelve WSCC cars there from Dorset, Devon, Somerset and the chaps down from Surrey area too. Plenty of exotica in the paddock and main car park areas. Was quite warm when the sun shone, and the bacon rolls were good! Big shout out to @markat for making the 1 hr 40 min trek from Okehampton in somewhat chilly conditions, especially with aeroscreen!

  6. We all met at Quacker's cafe and because the sun was out it was warm enough to sit outside. Parked at Quacker's We went on a drive through the Peak District on remarkably quiet roads, up high, with great views in the cool, clear air. The sunshine accentuating the scenery, it was glorious and I must thank all you great drivers for keeping the convoy together all the while. Parked at the Traveller's Rest, Bradwell Lunch inside at The Traveller's Rest, it was freezing by now as the clouds rolled in Jake, missing from the previous pic More food required so we went down to The Pavillion, Baslow Parked at The Pavillion Cake arrived Inside The Pavillion, far too cold to sit outside Another fantastic day out in our great little cars and another quiet Bank Holiday in the Peak District, can't believe our luck. Thank you to everyone for joining us today and see you all soon x

  12. I decided to go along to this last night and glad I did. I watched some of the Caterham races and took part in the lunchtime parade lap which was fun. I met another Westfield owner who I think said had driven from Bath area, his car was an early narrow se in green but his had a Zetec in it,

  20. My parents live in wales. it’s a sore point and brings on a bout of Tourette’s with them. The Welsh parliament hate motorists. But the 20 limit is largely ignored… Speed limits don’t appear based on a point system any more… more of who lives in the village and complained to get them changed. Or speed limits extended out of villages in the name of safety but really so planning permission for more homes can be sought. I was caught in an oxfordshire village doing 26 in a 20. To be honest I didn’t know it was a 20, or when it had changed… never noticed. But there’s no school, the pavements are the other side of grass 10 foot grass verges. It’s just a village with a wide street in the centre probably for herding sheep. The cop with a hair drier stopped me and gave me a yellow slip.. Also apologised and said it was up to the CPS if to take action. I joked I go though at 25 on my push bike! … I waited 6 months and I never got a fine through the post, but ever letter though the door had me worrying. The Week after I was caught my cycling club and I went though the village and some old git was stood on the side of the road waving his arms and shouting slow down it’s a 20… he clearly didn’t know speed limits don’t apply to bicycles… and I bet he was the one who’d bombarded the council/ highways/ gustapo into making it a 20 for no good reason.

  21. If you've not already seen it, here's my post detailing my second breakage. I've not had any issues with the second bracket, which l feel is down to the extra support added and crucially not overtightening the belt.

  22. Hi, I'm also based in Plymouth. Thinking about heading to my first trackday, Castle Combe has spaces available for next week (28/04) so I'm very tempted! Cheers Jaime
