Mystery box #2 has arrived 😎 All set now for the trip we will be uploading sat nav routes in due course and also setting up a WhatsApp group for tour members so we can all keep in communication before, during and after the trip 👍

That's ridiculous, but bear in mind that it's been roughly 23 working days now (Easter hols and weekends, don't forget), so I'm anticipating you'll get good news soon. Once it hits 30 working days on the 14th, keep pestering on a daily basis. Take names and reference numbers every time you talk to them and email once a week. It normally doesn't take this long at all. Make a PITA of yourself to encourage movement. If no joy after the 15th and in extremis, contact your local MP and ask for some help. I had a struggle with DVLA to fix my V5 when Swansea were adamant that my standard body Westfield was a three-seater.

I was at Piper Cams and Exhausts today collecting something non-Westfield related but absolutely stunning!! These items jumped into my car and mugged my credit card on the way... Fast road cams, vernier pulleys and followers for a Silvertop Zetec... should let a few more ponies out... Just have to work out how you fit and time them in now...

Having owned my Westy for 24 years, it was time to let it go to a new owner, it will be a sad time, but remembering all the good times, and meet ups with the Scottish lads and lasses, and conversations on here, will be timeless. This pic is me delivering it to its new owner in Lancashire. However, its new owner is no stranger to the car, having actually built it back in 1991, and it may yet see a return to its previous life as a hillclimb / sprint car (which is what it was built for). Wishing Ben all the best with 'ANJ'.....
