  3. Fitted to test the look and ride 13" wheels (185/60/13 front and 205/60/13 rear, brand new Yokohama A052, instead of current 15" (195/50 and 205/20) . Both on Team dynamics. Smaller ones have for my oither kitcar project, but having possibility to try - why not? As for the look in reality I rather more like look on 15, now looking at pictures front 15 looks soo huge ! I think its effect of too wide lens and some distotion.. But yes, on 13 car looks like a lighter one . As for the ride hm was expecting more noticeable difference (both sets with pressure approx 1,1-1,2 bar) But on the other hand its only 10mm narrower (front) , rear the same width. Had no proper possibility to test acceleration , which should be theoretically better as front one wheel in this diameter is 2,5kg lighter (13 185/60) comparing to 15 (195/50), rears less difference approx 1kg. On test I had chance to do, in fact seems to be more lively, but mayby it is self-suggestion . As for steering hoped for more lively front, but maybe because those A052 are good sticky semislcks - not really. Difference, quite significant, was on uneven patchy with holes road - more comfort on 16 as there is more ballon , or (and?) less unsprung weight effect. Anyway, maybe some day will try 175 front and sth like 195 rear (my road car has approx 130hp so ) on normal road tyres, bu so far I leave it on 15 . 13 goes back to MNR, and stil tyres on 15 are not much used and only 2/3 yrs old , so still have to earn their keep 15: 13:

  4. I was up way too early this morning and the two grey cells that were awake decided to fight for 3rd place, so for some reason I Googled my number plate to see what came back. One was a photo from Stoneleigh six years ago (ah, happy days, spoiled by HS2 going through the showground now): Another was a model number for a computer chip: However, it’s also the model number for an endoscope: which might help explain why The Wench has at times been a pain in the rear. Google your own number plate and report any interesting findings below.

  14. @Paul Baker - Bristol Bath and Cotswold AO@Stuart Davis AO - Devon Cornwall & Somerset Just starting to form the plan. Currently there are 4 of us planning to go, we are going to head across Saturday afternoon and then we are staying at a pub in Castle Cary. Then on the Sunday, head in for the breakfast meeting. We might then wander around the museum before heading home.

  24. Hi Stuart, yes we are. I think we have 4 or 5 of us coming and staying in castle Cary. All we have done so far is book accommodation and breakfast tickets. We still need to work out the rest of the plan but hopefully something like I published above.
