Hi! I'm soon having my first track day at Chivenor with "ApexMotorsportCoaching" - they are on Facebook and may even have tickets left. 20 cars max on each event and 5 track days over the year. They offer tuition etc as well. I can let you know how it went on the 27th April

Hi all, Thought I'd introduce myself and say 'hello' I'm Nick, recently sold my TVR Chimaera that I'd had for almost 10 years. I finally realised if I want to experience lots of different cars I'd need to part ways with the TVR, it was a sad day but sometimes you just need to move on I'm based down in Somerset near Bristol, pretty central and if like to get involved in the car club scene again. Took my 2 year old boy to his first car show recently and he's positively car mad, he loved it... this makes me a very happy Daddy, Mummy in the other hand, not so much Anyway, here I am, I've set my sites on a Westfield and I've been out in a few now so I'm getting a better idea of what I want. If anyone is thinking of selling their FW, preferably fully caged and in a mad colour then let me know (cage and colour not a deal breaker) Budget is around £18k and as much as I'd like a mad power car, I'm after the best condition car I can find over and above anything else. TVR chassis problems have scared me

There isn’t one. Yore best getting a paint matched to suit, if you want paint. If you want gel coat, Westfield can usually supply small pots, though it’s hit and miss how close it will be. You’d have to get it custom matched if you want it exact, I’m afraid. Sorry. I’ve spent years disappearing down this particular electric blue rabbit hole! (And yes, I’ve tried suggestions on here that were said to be perfect matches. They weren’t.)

Thank you Paul, that's very kind. That might be a good option, I'll look into it. I'll still be very new to the car and not sure how much driving I would've done by then so just wary of rushing into it.

There’s a few of us getting together at Llandow on Saturday 17 May for a track day, booked direct with the circuit. It’s a great circuit for beginners, shorter than most and lower speed, certainly compared to Castle Combe which is more technical and faster. You’d be very welcome to come along and join us, even if it’s just to have a look.
