Booked the Travelodge in Kendal, Sunday, Monday & Tuesday nights with Linda, navigator and riding mechanic. I've no idea what all this stuff about gpx files, etc is…..can't beat a decent map, reading glasses and an expert navigator who doesn't get car sick ! Looking forward to our summer holiday. I registered my westfield fw 2l zetec as class 8 modified cars series production 1401 to 2000. Look forward to seeing some of you there.

I have a slight drip on my rear crank seal, so just in case I get round to it I picked up a lightened flywheel.

The nose isn't a problem the bonnet tooling I'm currently working on it but my jury service is really isn't helping 😑 hoping it have something to show people in a coupe of weeks

Just saw this video (re Caterham, but I think its for every 7-type kitcar) , think it will help to sprare not neccesary work on our cars , and allow to drive with confidence that "this noise is ok , its not breaking apart my car" : In my road Westfield I experienced diff whinning and on/off throttle "chunk" . And to thios video added should be noises from straight gear boxes, both on stationary - like bucket of metal parts , and whinning on driving. When I first got mine straight gear box I was really not cnovicted that it is what it should be

I've always wanted one of these filler caps for the XI as the supplied aero design doesn't really do the car justice. One miraculously got delivered yesterday (after I absent mindedly ordered one!). Lovely engineering.
