Here are some dates for 2025, Meetings. The Tuesday night meeting is still at The Buffers, Rakehill Road, Scholes, LS15 4AL starting at 7:30 and are on the first Tuesday of the month. January 7th, February 4th, March 4th, April 2nd, May 6th, June 3rd, July 1st, August 5th, September 2nd, October 7th, November 4th, December 2nd. Breakfast Meetings. The breakfast meetings are normally held at The Darrington Hotel, Darrington, Pontefract, WF8 3BL at 10am. This could alter depending upon if we have a show, a run or just fancy a change. Details will be posted on the forum. The meeting is on the 3rd Sunday of each month. January 19th, February 16th, March 16th, April 20th, May 18th, June 15th, July 20th, August 17th, September 21st, October 19th, November 16th, December 21st. All are welcome, and you don't need to come in a Westfield. Shows and Events. There will be some shows this year, but as yet I have no information. Details will be posted when I get them. The Motorist are holding a KitCar day on Saturday March 1st. There is a separate post on the forum with all the details. Runs will be happening over the year with details on the forum as and when. The 2 KitCar shows are at Malvern and Newark, again details to follow. There will be no Run to the Sun this year as I'll be on the Lakes and Dales tour the same weekend. I'll update this thread when anything is arranged. Hope to see everyone on a run or at a meeting. Robin.

Just saw this video (re Caterham, but I think its for every 7-type kitcar) , think it will help to sprare not neccesary work on our cars , and allow to drive with confidence that "this noise is ok , its not breaking apart my car" : In my road Westfield I experienced diff whinning and on/off throttle "chunk" . And to thios video added should be noises from straight gear boxes, both on stationary - like bucket of metal parts , and whinning on driving. When I first got mine straight gear box I was really not cnovicted that it is what it should be

Forecast is pretty bad round me later on today and overnight into tomorrow morning; high winds (already picking up - it's bin day, they've only just been, and still my wheelie bin had blown twenty odd metres down the road!!) Plus heavy rain, with some localised flooding. I'll give this one a miss, I think. Have a good run!
