Ufff ... engine-gearbox out for lightweight flywheel and 2,98 1st gear instaltion. And maybe for some tidy up engine bay

It kind of narrows it down…

Finally getting round to jobs Ive been putting off since I purchased the car.

Fitted a 2lb Wilwood residual pressure valve to the rear brake line, disconnected and removed the old pressure brake light warning switch and fitted my new brake micro switch. Big thanks to @Greenstreak-Andy D & @Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AOfor your help with the micro switch mount.

Had these dampers kicking around the workshop for a couple of years so thought I'd put them to good use.

What I have just done? Swapped a mini!

Birthday present from the wife yesterday. I was even allowed the time to go and fit it!

New front grill made from ABS plastic. 285 grams lighter then the original, every little helps!

Cleaned the Westfield and decided to introduce it to my biggest car

Sorned and stored, off on a work trip til Xmas

Finished fabricating a bonnet support for the X1. Boot strap, headlight and interior and done!

Are you worried about it losing any shape whilst it's off, or have you braced it in any way? My FW bonnet splayed out a bit when it was off to do the radiator ducting. I got myself worked up a bit when I refitted mine and it wouldn't close properly, but then I remembered reading about how it was a common issue, especially at shows. It was fine after a couple of days and I'm sure the more experienced owners have all been through it 😁
