  1. Had these dampers kicking around the workshop for a couple of years so thought I'd put them to good use.

  2. From reading it you can see the majority who responded were classic car people as they were less willing to agree to many mods and recreations etc. I can see why when you have say a Bentley with just one part relating to the V5 suddenly become a whole car and priced accordingly. For the kit side I cannot see to many changes being recommended but the one suggesting they should never be historic vehicles would lead to never having the luxury of free road tax and no requirement for MOT. I am not in favour of having no MOT for any cars as some currently on the roads should not be and one bad accident caused by a classic or Kit would be used against them

  4. Hi Stuart It’s quite easy - you purchased a new membership with electronic magazines only on 29/11 while your old membership with posted printed magazines was still valid until 08/12. When the latter expired, you got an email to that effect. As I said in this post back on 25/11, it’s not possible to have the system reliably upgrade or downgrade memberships, so members wanting to do so should wait until their membership expires first. Long story short, your membership with electronic copies of the magazines is current until 8 December 2025, so not to worry.

  5. @Mark19691 I've split your brake question into a new post in Tech- here- Brake Pedal Feel It's likely to be more noticed and hence better support there.

  7. For sale is my 1995 Westfield SE1 Widebody, 2 Litre Vauxhall Redtop with twin webber 45’s, finished in Yellow. Selling due to a lack of use, I’ve done less than 500 miles in the past 2 years and 200 of those miles was the round trip for the MOT’s. The only advisory was the rear tyres which are worn on the edges so could be doing with being replaced. Brief specifications below: Current mileage on the odometer is 17,184 miles 2,000 Litre Vauxhall Redtop with twin webber 45 carbs Type 9 5-speed gearbox Sports exhaust, no catalytic converter Storm Racing 15” alloys fitted with Toyo Proxes R888 Sports seats with Sabelt harnesses and adjustable seat runners Momo Steering Wheel MOT Valid until 28th April 2025. Side doors fitted Full Wet weather hood There’s a folder full of paperwork for the car going back to its manufacture, it was serviced by myself earlier this year plugs, filters, oil, etc. It’s a great car to drive but just doesn’t get used enough to justify keeping it. If you want further details, please feel free to contact me. I’m based in the North East of Scotland so please keep that in mind. Looking for £8,000.00 but I am open to sensible offers, not interested in swaps and lastly I don’t want a PlayStation for it 😊
