  1. Just recently bought my first Westfield a factory built sport 2000 Duratec, and joined the club. Thanks to Cheshire group for advise. Looking forward to some nicer weather and getting out to a few trackdays and meet ups next year. First item on the list of to does, removable steering wheel.

  2. Kit Cars and Stars - ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ Welcome to Kit Cars and Stars. The brand-new competition between all Westfield Sports Car Club Regions. We know there are some larger than life characters amongst us, just itching to show their talents. @Gary k If performing a karaoke song, acting or dressing up like a well-known character from a movie is your thing, then you’re out of luck. The suggestions for monthly competitions are going to be supplied in advance by you the membership. On this Thread. @Captain Colonial will choose a competition suggestion on the first of each month for the following months calamities. I suspect many of you will have great suggestions but might not be quite so keen on completing the tasks. To ensure fairness, we’re going to create a league table. Winners will be winners and losers most certainly will pay the price for losing. Time to put your region on the map! As this is for fun, engagement rules are minimal. To ensure a base scoreline is achieved each month: Total count of the membership who attend driving their Kit Cars. 1 point. Total count of the membership in attendance. 1 point. Total count of the membership completing the monthly challenge. 1 point. Photographic evidence will be sought. @Captain Colonial is the Micheal Massi overseeing all proceedings. Totals submitted with evidence on this thread only.. I will collect the scores 🤫 unless Cheshire lot feel worried. Bonus points will be given throughout the 2025 season for those who represent regional areas at the planned WSCC National events. Like Malvern. Happy to start receiving competition ideas! Competition enhancements also welcomed.

  3. Sorry, as good as it is, nil points for doing impressions of Jeremy Corbyn. Good effort, though.

  5. You do realise that I’m very much like Beetlejuice in that calling my name three times can produce unexpected and potentially unwelcome results, don’t you? But please - do carry on… I’d be suggesting things like how many members showing up wearing their clothing inside out, or members all wearing just one colour like yellow, or most ridiculous costume… no, that is unfairly in your favour, maybe not.

  6. Hmm these competitions are a little stacked towards the house @Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO, but @Rob Hunter - Club Secretary and I love a challenge. May I suggest a new thread. One whereby the membership creates the themes prior to the club meets. That way all areas membership areas can join in with the advanced flying in of international overseas support acts. On a personal note I would like to thank @LoneWolf and @maurici for their time post curry! We spent hours translating the local dialect, as the English was somewhat foreign to them. 😂😂 So back to the Competition thread. I’ll let bagpus create the title. To kick things off. Perhaps the next one should be how many people can you photograph in a race suit whilst attending the regional meet. Please organise this fun thread to include all A/O’s January 2025 - Ready Steady go! HB464443

  8. Well - the weather was biblical but the company was excellent. It developed into another Christmas party!! Meal (or in the case of those who are out again tonight) a doorstep sandwich, turned out to be excellent and worth a re-visit in better weather. Happy Christmas 🎅🏻

  20. Oh yeah 😉 What a great idea @HB46443 I'm glad my mischief has helped you come up with this. Though I think we need the master of obscurity and chaos to make this live. Calling @Captain Colonial to the thread. The grunts, slurps and burps were internationally recognised without translation. How about "101 ways for the Cheshire and North Staffs Group to beat the Derby and Notts Group" ? 😉 Categories could include - Highest number of consecutive days that a WSCC Members from a regional meet has driven a Westfield with the same pair of shorts Largest number of WSCC regional members in the Alps from any group Highest Altitude for WSCC regional flag Largest numbers of members from a WSCC Region in a convoy in the peaks Largest number of WSCC Members from a region wearing WSCC T-Shirts at an International Car Museum @Benrobson2999 - Kent AO I'm sure you and your gang could come up with some great categories too. I like this one to, looking forward to it! @Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative I'm sure we've got your support on this great idea to grown attendance at regional meets and might even stir some of the quieter regions into action. Bring it on!

  22. Heck, that is some weather forecast, can't believe earlier on in the week they were actually saying it was going to be ok. Unless there is a dramatic change this event is cancelled, but please read on for some important information. Firstly, we are still going to the car museum on Sunday morning in a more suitable vehicle, so if you fancy a breakfast and a chat please do join us from 10am until around midday. Secondly, it's that time of the year for the Santa Run, so if the weather is good next weekend keep an eye out for it in the Event's section. For those that haven't seen it before, we dress both our cars and ourselves in festive gear and tootle about having a good laugh, the general public love it too. Hope to see some of you soon xxxxxx

  23. Great to finally meet @maurici last night. Here's me internationally whooping @Rob Hunter - Club Secretary & @HB46443 with a Spaniard and our visiting Italian @LoneWolf, given our monthly who can get more cars at our respective meets each month, I upped the game and challenged them to see how far their popularity reaches. @HB46443 even went to the wrong meet 😉 Great to dine with @Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman @Andy Wallwork @Greenstreak-Andy D @6carjon @Westie66 @LoneWolf last night. We toasted absent friends @Jim cunliffe and @Si.Dalziel who sadly couldn't join us. Thanks for organising @Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
