  1. Great to finally meet @maurici last night. Here's me internationally whooping @Rob Hunter - Club Secretary & @HB46443 with a Spaniard and our visiting Italian @LoneWolf, given our monthly who can get more cars at our respective meets each month, I upped the game and challenged them to see how far their popularity reaches. @HB46443 even went to the wrong meet ๐Ÿ˜‰ Great to dine with @Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman @Andy Wallwork @Greenstreak-Andy D @6carjon @Westie66 @LoneWolf last night. We toasted absent friends @Jim cunliffe and @Si.Dalziel who sadly couldn't join us. Thanks for organising @Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman

  2. Heck, that is some weather forecast, can't believe earlier on in the week they were actually saying it was going to be ok. Unless there is a dramatic change this event is cancelled, but please read on for some important information. Firstly, we are still going to the car museum on Sunday morning in a more suitable vehicle, so if you fancy a breakfast and a chat please do join us from 10am until around midday. Secondly, it's that time of the year for the Santa Run, so if the weather is good next weekend keep an eye out for it in the Event's section. For those that haven't seen it before, we dress both our cars and ourselves in festive gear and tootle about having a good laugh, the general public love it too. Hope to see some of you soon xxxxxx

  5. @Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AOsadly I'm doing some consulting at a business in Dartford, Monday to Friday for a few months so I may be absent for a few pub meets. Bizarrely, the site I'm at is literally next door to the Caterham factory so I could probably get a photo of plenty of "sevens" if you want ๐Ÿ˜‚

  6. My errands made me arrive very early to the george inn... Give me a shout if you recognise me. Grey polo, blue aston martin jacket. Probably the one that looks like the local drunk in 20 minutes

  7. Protech Shocks Socks. I got these for the rear only after having cleaned up the shocks and fitting new Spax progressive springs. Hopefully it will keep all the crud off. Yes I am a bit of a clean freak.

  9. I've just had all 4 of my shocks rebuilt as one of them suddenly got emotional and cried out all of its oil. The cause of this was deemed to be corrosion to the shafts that damaged the seals, resulting in the leak. 4x new shafts plus the corresponding updated seals and plates to match the only (bigger) currently supplied shafts was not cheap. They were 16 years old but I'm extra wary of this sort of issue now. I did just last night twig I could take out the boot box to clean off everything under there, though.

  11. Got some new parts for the Westfield today. A set of Lusomotor MK10 seats with custom headrest of my design, and the electric pump for the charge cooler. Really pleased with the seats, the LineX coating looks great and they just fit in the car.

  16. The Alfa clock should probably go backwards! I can't have a German clock as I've never had a German car, I could get a Honda CRX one though. I'll keep a check on how reliable they are when I learn to tell the time.

  17. I'll be interested to see which clock turns out to be more reliable ๐Ÿ˜‰ Shouldn't the Alfa clock reflect the time in Italy? Surely you need a German or Japanese model ๐Ÿ˜Ž
