  1. A HUGE thank you to Andrew and Clare for hosting another excellent Christmas Party. The venue served lots of yummy food in a timely manner at a fair price, good choice, well done to the winners of the quiz, Martyn and Sue. Look forward to the other photo's.

  3. A Big Thank you to Andy and Clare for organising this meal. We had a great afternoon and the food was delicious. It was great to catch up with everyone and have a good time Here's a few photos of the winter Westfield hardcore leaving the pub. 5. 7 Westfield's and their hungry owners met at Hulme End Tea Junction for drinks only, in anticipation of a 3 course Christmas dinner at lunchtime. We welcomed Matt, who was joining us for the first time in his green Westfield Sport 250, very nice, take a look here Sat in the cafe, Glen sporting his double fractured thumb 🤕 Ian in Bagpuss, his en-suite Westfield 😁 It was cold, still and rather suitable weather for driving our cars. My opinion is, winter is the best time to be out in the Peak District with your Westfield. Like today, the roads were dry and very empty, nothing stopped us on our excellent route, turn after turn, excitement building as we knew that this was good and there was only better to come, the grande finale of the Bentley Brook road. Ian temporarily parked in his favourite spot when we arrived at The Bentley Brook Inn, Ashbourne Glen provided the strip show in the car park After a little photo we went inside to join the others at the Christmas Party. It was just great to see everyone, even without their cars, this is a great social event, the biggest outside of the big kit car shows for us. Thanks for coming everyone and joining us on the run out.

  10. @Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative looked like he could do with borrowing a bra! 🤣🤣🤣 it’s a large jacket to get my broad shoulders in 🤔 to take all the abuse I get from my Westfield friends 🙄

  11. @aeg Glen says 'he would have returned the jacket anyway, it was at least 2 sizes too big for him' his lithe physique can be seen on the other post 😮😆

  12. My cold start is similar idles low and likes a few revs when it first gets going after a couple of minutes all good. If it was a daily you could get cold start dialled in I'm sure, but mapping takes a day I drove it there "warm" drove it home. Never bothered me on something like this 👍. My VDO's steam up and have a mind of there own at times 😁 it's all endearing traits of a kit car.....well mine anyway. Winter is for tinkering fixing a few bits, I've never done anything other than put it in the garage and put a cover over it. Once the salt is gone I put the ctek on it for a day and it starts and we are off again. It's only 4months or so. These you tube barn finds etc start with 8 year old fuel. Few months should not hurt it at all Welcome to the club!!!
