I've subscribed to Wayne's (aka Bizzle) "Tea N' Bizzkits" fledgling YouTube channel for a while and finally got to meet him in person at Newark. He has a lovely Rotrex supercharged 4AGE Striker and his channel documents his journey with the car, from maintenance and repairs through to track days and car shows. Nice fella too 👍 The Club stand gets a very complimentary mention and quite a few clips of our cars are in there.5 points

The Alfa clock should probably go backwards! I can't have a German clock as I've never had a German car, I could get a Honda CRX one though. I'll keep a check on how reliable they are when I learn to tell the time.3 points

Got a new home for the car over the weekend, put it up yesterday. I'm looking forward to being able to more easily complete the engine swap and do other tinkering in less-than-ideal weather. Have to see whether any condensation results. Hopefully with the vents it won't, but I can always zip on some fans to the mesh to give airflow. Cleaning the drive where the tent was to go did highlight how badly the rest also needs jet washing 😁3 points

Lovely car and ideally placed for trips over to Orkney. Been through Thurso many times when doing the full 500 and stayed at the new Premier Inn a few times now. Happy motoring and enjoy your car 👍2 points

I'll be interested to see which clock turns out to be more reliable 😉 Shouldn't the Alfa clock reflect the time in Italy? Surely you need a German or Japanese model 😎2 points

Finally got round to giving her a vacuum, thorough wash & polish after driving back through monsoons & tsunami’s (I know I’ve been told 1,000,000 times not to exaggerate) from Newark a few weeks back - had that much debris across it, I though it had Toybox strips on it 🫣🙃😱 all ready for the Black Country meet on Sunday 👍1 point

Thanks Paul - it’s a lovely part of Essex and was a perfect day for a drive out. The car attracted plenty of attention making it quite difficult to get the photos 😊1 point

Car looking great @MJS71 I’ve got relatives just round the corner from there so I’ve regularly walked along the front at Maldon, never seen a Westfield there before! Nice place on a sunny day1 point

Thanks @Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AOI found it this morning. Under the dash at the passenger side. Which is the opposite to everything on YouTube (and the advice from a local garage proprietor!) Changed now.1 point

A few pics from my run today, just a short one 200mls. Up and over The Rest and be Thankful to Colintraive then a ferry over to Isle of Bute and after lunch a ferry back to Wemyss Bay and home via Ayrshire. 😊 Could really do with Rob to make the pictures pop... Arran in the background Rothesay Bay and the hills on the mainland I'd driven through to get there1 point

Been a little quite recently been busy with some other projects/businesses. I've been installing a new autoclave oven which has taken far far longer than it should have done and like all new equipment you have to learn the inns and out but I think I've turned the corner now. So as the cold winter weather is coming maybe time to spend abit more time in the garage keeping warming playing with abit of carbon so keep your eyes open for some new projects and products.1 point

£650 SOLD Team Dynamics 1.2 light alloy wheels. 15” fitted with TOYO R1R tyres. Great road & track tyre. Tyres still have the markings on them. All tyres are 205/50/15 and went under the arches of my SEIW perfectly. Fresh powder coated in antique copper. They are perfect condition. Collection from CV13 6EU. I can put them on a pallet and wrap them in film but you would have to arrange this with your courier. I have a forklift for loading purposes. No PAYPAL. Cash on collection or cleared BT. £650. I will take £600 if collected with cash. Russell.1 point

Being a Single Donor Vehicle, they cost less to build than the “modular” kit that the Zetec/Duratec cars will be based on. This then gets reflected in the resale cost, making them good value for money. Same goes for the Sierra SDV, although many of those will have used the very old Pinto engine and will thus perhaps be less desirable these days. The mazda SDV makes a great option if you want to have a turbo though due to the inherent strength of the base motor.1 point
