  3. We did both Ferrari musuems and Pagani last year - see here- Pagani, you only need to allow a few hours unless you book the factory tour in advance. We did both Ferrari musuems easily in a day. (seperate locations- Modena and Maranello, about 20km apart) - you can buy the tickets together from their website. We didn't go in the Lamborghini museum, just parked outside on our way out of Modena as we'd got a long drive ahead. A car friend who's visited suggests it's not as good as ferarri given they've not got the same racing pedigree as Ferarri etc. We'd not be driving that far into Italy again! too hot, poor roads, traffic etc. The dolomites and around Lake Garda is much better in a Westie. We didn't actually drive from Modena to Ferarri due to traffic and very wet weather, so missed the opportunity of a photo outside the Ferarri factory etc.

  4. Just renewed for another year with Howden insurance, Paul Reaney took good care of me, reduced my premium, covered me for 5 track days and for any breakdowns. Happy customer here 😁

  9. Brilliant Ian, thanks. I'll have a read at that later. If/ when we do go, Lambo will be a deffo as the Miura was my poster car when I was a boy.

  10. Height is 1.8m, great thing with air chambers is that they have a frame so you are not reliant on air pressure to keep it inflated whilst driving your car in and out or indeed whilst you are out enjoying yourself!

  14. At the local car meet, Bacon & Brakes there was loads of beautiful machines. A top fuel dragster with 2000hp and a 0 to 60 of 0.8 seconds, a mk II escort with 2.0ltr Zetec and ITB like mine but with a BDA head. Stunning American muscle and e-types and even an Austin Healy 3000.

  15. This is what replaced the car for 3 months. I had another cover over the bonnet to protect the engine compartment but the engine block and alternator show surface corrosion. I have had to repaint the black bonnet vents.
