  8. We in the humble fens like our carrots and crunching them too. We are not rabbits but a little eccentric who have a lot of fun. Not many beautiful places around here to take idyllic pics so we are going to do something different and a bit bonkers. Follow one bags mighty travels from the humble start at malvern. Follow Baggy on its travels with a unique twist on promoting Westfield. We start off in Canada with our John and Lynn.

  15. It's 3 figures plus vat. Which is fine for their expertise and difficult engine work, but humdrum fitting stuff, I'd look elsewhere...

  17. A mate has 2 tickets for the England v Spain final on Sunday. He paid £360 each, including flights but he didn't realise when he bought them months ago that it was going to be the same day as his wedding 🤦🤦 If you're interested, he is looking for someone to take his place? It's at Guildford Registry Office, at 3pm. The bride's name is Sarah, she's 5'7" & quite attractive. Come on England! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 ⚽🍺️

  18. I've recently did my V8 bonnet vents using some mesh and these 3D printed press templates. You can find the 3D model files in my post here, but I appreciate that not everyone has access to a printer or the skills to design something themselves. So I'd like to hereby offer these free of charge to members who can then use them to press bonnet vents in his/hers preferred mesh. All I'm asking is to cover the postage to your address and once you're finished with them, offer them up to the next person under the same terms. @HB46443 has first dibs 👍

  19. How would I go about setting up a South Wales local group? I was AO for the area about 10 years ago before I sold my first car, and now I’m back in ownership would be good to get a local area running (I think there are a few South Wales owners). Plus we are not far from Bristol and Bath our Hertfordshire So joint events in the summer could be an option.. Happy to be the AO to get it going - but what’s the process for getting started?

  21. Hi all, Recently purchased the Westfield from club member Steve J in north wales. So far i'm happy with the car and will be looking for advice on parts and upgrades soon. Not sure how active the local club is but wouldn't mind joining people on a drive who happen to find them self's in the mid Wales area. Was waiting for a nice day to take it out and get better pictures but i have given up.

  22. This solution of marking the towing points on roll hoop / cage is accepted in a lot of Motorsport disciplines and like others never had a problem at track days.

  30. Never had a towing eye in 20 years of trackdays. The one time I did need a tow, we used a soft strap around the front wishbone. Because of the low weight of the car it does no damage. Also if you have a cage, a soft strap round that is sufficient for a tow.

  31. I seriously wish I could, the weather looks great atm but sadly I'm nowhere near you. I plan to be out somewhere though. I was thinking, sunny dry weather, 6pm, England v Spain on TV, the roads will be like Christmas Day! 👌🌞🌞🌞👌

  36. I don't bother, just stick some "tow" stickers on your roll bar, they can use that if needs be. You can see the stickers on my MSA bar (white at the fromt, yellow on the rear).

  37. A few more. It was also a short hill climb event. Very bored with all the Ferraris and Lambos. Was one Atom and a Caterham 500. Got an invite to take the Westy next year. And yes a lot of the owners were in their 20s!

  38. Actually, the line is there because my print bed isn't large enough to print it in one piece, so I had to glue two pieces together Happy to be called clever though 🤣

  39. Sandwich the mesh between the male and female press templates. Use two planks of wood to spread the force equally on the outside of the templates. Clamp them together with some clamps Put in a vice and squeeze
