We arrived at Scotch Corner at 4 o'clock to find only 2 Westfields there. A drink and a sandwich later, 2 more came. At 7, we decided to head for home only to see all the others going round in circles trying to find a petrol station. I think too much cake had been consumed on the way up. Have a good run to Berwick-upon-Tweed tomorrow.3 points

Nissan Pulsar alloy plenum with a custom backplate used to be a useful item, maybe hard to get hold of these days though... https://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/forum/9/viewthread.php?tid=1491612 points

+SOLD+ Up for reluctant sale is my Westfield narrow body kit car. The car was first registered in 1989 and In 2003 underwent a full nut and bolt rebuild to what it is today . A rather special and sorted flying machine. The car has only covered 7000 miles and is in brilliant condition. The engine was a brand new 2.0 Ford zetec with omex engine management and throttle bodies, cams built by Northampton motorsport and tested at 200bhp. It pulls very strongly indeed and sounds absolutely fantastic. Just fitted an uprated Helix clutch kit which feels lovely . I have just had another rolling road session and had the mapping adjusted to suit the new exhuast manifold. It has a race line manifold and wunoff repackable silencer. Braking is taken car of with willwood callipers up front at drums at the rear . It has a full caged roll cage fitted for added rigidity and security. New coolex radiator, silicone hoses etc . Carbon dash , seats and wings . Quaife ATB diff with an indipendant rear axle . type 9 gearbox with Quaife semi helical internals. Gaz adjustable coilovers ( recently serviced ) Comes with a set of antiroll bars not currently fitted . 35l fuel tank . A rather special little car which is an absolute blast to drive and very engaging. A mass of paperwork is included with build manuals and lots of receipts. In very good condition all over ready for the summer . I have had a few Westfields over the years and this is by far the best I have owned. It’s sits nicely on the road and has been built very well indeed. Fully road legal , a great car for either road or track . Incredibly cheap to insure and also under classic car insurance. Only for sale as we have just found a house we want to go for and need to sell off some toys unfortunately to make it possible . Any questions please just ask - car is in Tring , Hertfordshire. 07725131140 is my number . Thank you for looking.1 point

Hi, New to the forum and westfield ownership. I've bought a Mega S2000 on Saturday. What a car. Loving it so far. I believe the car is known to the forum already. My previous car was a busa powered, rear engined car. A mevabusa. So I am enjoying the better practical experience with the cec. I also feel more comfortable taking my kids in it, especially being fully caged. My 1st question, is there anything I should really know about the S2000 and if there's anything to keep an eye on? straight off, I need to figure how to upload photos easily Cheers Dean1 point

I think they were made by Luke a Playskool, but they stopping trading. I’d suggest an alloy item will handle boost better. I’m sure I’ve seen something at GBS.1 point

Thank you for the link. I was thinking of getting a new tank for the plumbed in fire system, until I seen the price. That may have to wait awhile. The stick looks a great idea.1 point

There's not many places to put a cylinder. If it's not in the passenger footwell, perhaps it's been removed?1 point

Hey Phil, haha yeah I was panicking when I couldn't post the picture straight away. I am up in the North of Northumerland. Me and my eldest were looking to build. We've just overhauled a gen 1 busa engine and have a 3.14 diff to match. But when we seen this red beauty come up, it took some man maths to convince the wife, this was a better solution. We are beyond happy with it so far.1 point
