  1. Hello all. New member here having just joined and thought I'd introduce myself. I've just completed the purchase of my first Westfield from Andrew at Toybox, and the car is likely to be with me next week. Andrew has made the whole process so easy and relaxed. To say I'm excited is a massive understatement, and I'm sure you all remember that 'Christmas Eve' feeling very well. I've gone for an Electric Blue over black, FW, 2.0 Zetec on Omex TB's with Omex ECU too. Plenty of carbon goodies on this one as well. Looking forward to learning more, getting some experience under my belt, and essentially just having some fun! Steve.

  2. Hi all, anyone know where I can get an Isofix base for child seat for my Grandson Harrison? His mom said “no way” but I think you’re never to young to Westy 🫶🏼

  4. Hello all, With a heavy heart - I am putting my Westfield SEiW Sport 220 Ecoboost up for sale - Q900VAB. This is solely due to the funding of a personal business of mine, alongside this I haven’t had too much opportunity to get it out of the garage. I purchased the vehicle through a former member and believe the car is well known and has been featured in a couple of magazines prior and was owned by Tim Reid. Since ownership, I have kept the vehicle the same - with regular maintanence. Recently back in February over to Northampton Motorsport for a full head to toe service alongside an MOT. It has been garaged since this period and covered in the garage. This is an absolute beast of a car with an amazing whistle of the turbo and wastegate make this car entertaining to drive and the sheer power can propel the lightweight car to high speed in seconds. At low RPM it can quietly pootle through villages with plenty of low down torque when you need to open it up. Originally a factory built limited edition (14 of 15) SEiW Sport featuring; independent suspension, wide body, detachable rear arches and floor mounted pedals. A registration, so easy to MOT with no emissions testing and no harder to insure than any other vehicle. The last owner owned the vehicle for 14 years prior to myself. Giving it great care and continually improving it. I took it on myself as something to simply enjoy with a hunger for something a little bit crazy! However unfortunately, no track days were had and time spent driving the car has been limited. There was a major rebuild to bring it up to date with a 16 Ecoboost engine (dual variable valve timing system, drive by wire throttle, Direct injection and turbocharged engine from a Fiesta ST180, as standard 220bhp on SCS Delta ECU but it can easily be increased and go up to 400bhp). Mazda N7 (MX5 Mk3) gearbox, AIM digital dash, full Siltech suspension set up including ARBs, micro adjusters, wide track. Big brake kit with bias adjustment, 3 piece image wheels. Lightweight alternatator, battery, bodywork and steering column. Quick release steering wheel, limited slip differential LSD, quick rack, lots of real carbon fibre including a number of customer parts which are extremely rare. The vehicle was weighed in at 584kg down from 740kg but should be a little less - I haven’t had it weighed recently. The previous owner of this really took care and attention to the build and you can feel it in the drive and see from the pictures. And mentioned prior the vehicle was featured in National Kit Car magazine and always gets positive attention wherever you go! Servicing has been done annually regardless of how few miles were driven. Please note the comments on the MOT records: - 1996-2005 = Pre DVLA online records but you can see what’s in the huge folder which will come with the car. - June 2006 = 9343 miles - June 2007 = 10,674 miles - June 2008 = unknown (not read by the MOT tester but 12,000 miles) - July 2009 = new Zetec engine installed at 14,151 miles with new odometer showing 0 miles. MOT shows 16 miles. DVLA informed. - July 2010 = 12,140 (MOT tester misread the odometer! Was actually 1,214 miles as confirmed by subsequent and previous years). - June 2011 = 24,842 miles (MOT tester misread the odometer! Was actually 2,482 miles as confirmed by previous and subsequent years). - July 2012 = 3236 miles - July 2013 = 3982 miles - July 2014 = 4904 miles - July 2015 = 5396 miles - August 2016 = 6214 miles - 2017 off road due to rebuild - 2018 off road due to rebuild - September 2019 - 3 miles due to new Ecoboost engine and Mazda gearbox. DVLA informed. - August 2020 = 382 miles - August 2021 = 1045 miles - 2022 = off road SORN (I believe) - March 2023 = 1508 miles - Vehicle purchased by myself in May 2023 It has now peaked over 2000 miles will need to confirm this and update the advert! However, there is a HUGE arch leaver of every receipt, drawing of wiring loom, pluming diagrams, and the rebuild is published for all to see on WSCC. The car was originally stored in a garage its entire life and had a dehumidifier running for the past 10 years. I have continued on with this since my ownership. Please let me know if you have any questions regarding the car itself and I’ll be sure that I answer them for you. I am looking for £16,850.00 o.n.o. Please don’t hesitate to get in contact. Viewings can be arranged if serious buyer.

  6. Yes front spoiler, naca ducts, (and if we could see the rear) 4 exhaust pipes and 4 rear lights would set it out as a 512, the early 365s had 6 rear lights and 6 exhaust tailpipes, what could be cooler!!??

  8. The detailers amongst us will probably be throwing their phones at the wall at this moment 😂 but, if you want a cheap, quick and easy way if getting a shine (or to use in between waxes) then the Carplan No1 Super Gloss works surprisingly well. Loads of other spray on "paint sealant" types about (I've tried plenty) that work well too but No1 is normally the cheapest and compares well.

  9. With the help of some info from some guys off here I installed some inertia reel belts into my SEiW. Have left the 4point harnesses in also, so have the choice to use either now. Good job I have super bendy arms, I elected to leave the boot box in place which with hindsight was probably a bad choice, fixing the reels above the diff by reaching through the wheel arches was awkward to say the least, but got it done in the end.

  10. A small but very select group came today. We drove into the Doddington Hall car park to be met by Chris Emmerson and Mo who were really chuffed by being the first there. This elation was soon misplaced when I introduced them to @Jakejmagee who wondered across having parked in another car park. Good try Chris. Better luck next time 🤪 Breakfast was consumed over some healthy conversation. @Jakejmagee really went for it and had the full English. The rest of us paced ourselves hoping that better was to come. We then moved on to The International Bomber Command Memorial which is well worth a visit. More food was consumed including Sunday lunch by a few of us 😁. Chris, Jake and I then went on the free guided tour which was very enlightening but cold on top a hill overlooking Lincoln city. Clare and Mo were probably the more sensible ones who stayed inside and had another coffee. Photos courtesy of Jake and Chris - thanks. We all then parted having had a good chat and food. Thanks for coming

  11. Got out with my mate Damo yesterday, me in the Flying Carrot him in his SDR V-Storm lunatic machine. Went to 5 Zeros Supercars Bradford-On-Avon for lunch, then had a nice shortish blat to Castle Combe race circuit where we drove the perimeter road to meet a mate who was marshaling a bike track day. No great pics but a great day full of laughs and silliness.

  14. An enjoyable day of spannering in the 🌞! An oil and filter change, swapped over the wheels to my silver set and torqued up, checked all the pressures of the ZZR's, refitted the de-cat pipe (MOT was a week ago), replaced the W4 stainless Mikalor exhaust clamp (the old W2 had given up the ghost when I fitted the cat and had the horrible U-bolt type as a quick fix), a 20 minute wash and polish (the joy of Carplan No1 Super Gloss!), quick test drive to Halfrauds for some more glysantin G30 and she's all ready for Kitfest tomorrow. The old jalopy isn't looking too bad, the dailies are looking filthy now though 🤦‍♂️😂 Before: After:

  15. A19 south, either stick to A19 right through to York ring road then wherever, or head over N York moors on some really scenic roads. Via Castleton, Blakey ridge (lunch at the Lion Inn... Great place to stop), continue south to Malton. Then wherever you need to go. There's not a lot of nice roads along the coast tbh. You can avoid A1 from Berwick by using A697. Consett, A68, Darlington, Yarm, Stokesley, kildale, Castleton, lion Inn, south to Malton. Not the fastest route but you'll enjoy it.
