First outing & commute of the year 😁

Factory built (invoice available) first registered 2003, 5-speed box (LT77 I believe), LSD. Current mileage 12285, MOT (non-cat) due October 2024. Odyssey battery fitted 30/05/22 at 11500 miles (spare available). Just had oil and filter change at 12281 miles (previously at 10068 miles) and new clutch slave cylinder. I believe engine is from a TVR Chimaera and enjoys ACT carbon plenum chamber with enlarged trumpets and ports. Toyo Proxes all round (R888 front, new R888R rear. Rears fitted 14/9/21 at 10982 miles. Three-point inertia-reel seatbelts fitted now (so much easier day-to-day) but I still have the original Sabelt 4-point harnesses. Hood and sidescreens, perspex wind deflectors, Walker St Clair cockpit cover. Lowered floor for the taller driver, underslung rear exit s/steel exhausts, Ctek trickle charger hard-wired to battery. HPI checked at purchase, has been mine since July 2020. Dry use only in my hands (except when caught out in shower on 2 occasions). Reason for sale: I'm 72 now and can no longer take this car to the max. It needs somebody who can exploit it to the full. Glorious noise and I will miss it hugely. I have no hesitation in describing this car as being in excellent condition all-round. Local garage mechanics (who did oil and slave cylinder change last week) described it openly as "up together". Two Westies in Bridport for the Dorset meet this evening, mine now safely tucked up in its bubble.

A fun meet up last night, was brilliant to see everyone! Plenty of car rebuild discussions going on, with Martyn, Dom and Paul putting their cars back together, and Rachael and Iain plotting an engine upgrade once they've move house! Howard has also recently finished his winter upgrades on his Speed Series car ready for the 2024 season so we're looking forward to seeing him and Alex on track this year 👍 Garry was showing us some footage from the recent "noisy day" at Donington where some stunning classic F1 cars were out testing with no noise restrictions. I'm definitely going to try to get to the next one! The friendly competition with Cheshire stepped up with 4 cars out at their meet when sadly we had none..... Hedley came to the rescue however, photoshopping one of our previous meets to make it look dark 👌 After posting it on Facebook, we got rumbled when Steve and Glynn (who couldn't make it) spotted their cars in the photo! 😂 Great laughs as usual, see you on the next meet 👍

Hi Euan Sold the Westfield 1800 and bought a Panther Kallista. A totally different motoring experience which lacked the exhilaration of the Westfield so decided to return to the fold. Have now bought a SEIW 2 Litre Zetec in Blue, has put a smile back on my face.

Thanks again to Chloe for sorting my insurance 😀 A £30 increase in premium for year two of Westfield ownership but I'd to think Howden will offer a better level of cover than AF (who haven't even sent through a renewal offer!) Roll on warm weather and dry roads...and pothole repairs!

I can suggest something else you need one a day of 😉 I've not used the service myself, so not experienced how it works. Perhaps if you're still overseas, you're e-mail server isn't sure you've received it and keeps sending?

We don't have many Westfield's at the Mallory Park Sprint, on 24th March, Sheffield and Halamshire like a lot of organisers of Events take a risk in putting them on. If it's not supported then they will not run it next year. So if you have been thinking about Entering please do it now. Thanks
