Hi, just joined the for room to get some knowledge on Westfield as a potential buyer. Owned Cosworths, Evo and Subaru's all my driving life. Well still own a Subaru. Will be going through the forum in evenings after work. My 1st question is is there any Westfield car meets this coming year close to Buckinghamshire area? Thanks

Good call on the Q reg (I'm a fan) - but personally, I would not say an LSD is a "dealbreaker", especially if you are not going to track it. Definitely try and get ITBs over carbs if you can afford it. A decent gearbox (Type 9 BGH/TracSport/Quaife with long 1st) is top trumps though. As Dave said above, buying one close to the desired spec is definitely cheaper than modifying one - but wheres the fun in that 😋

An exciting time of the year with many cars coming out of hibernation this month! We are really looking forward to a great season of meets, events, track days, sprints and of course, loads of laughs so plenty to chat about! As usual we will be upstairs at about 7pm 👍

Let my younger son ( yet with no driving license ) to learn how to drive a Proper Car he did quite well - only two kangoorous on start then learned that there is no too much throttle on start (well ,on wide road )

Winter tinkering complete! just two ball joints and the most thorough clean i think shes had since i had it (8years) I got a DA for xmas so gave it a go. It has not got rid of the bigger marks as I did not know what i was doing so went cautious, but it got rid of the washing swirls of the slap a wash mit over it job that i like to do😜. I removed side stripes as they were starting to show there age but have added some decals this year. RL200 is the engine spec being a zetec r from Raceline. I was a little unsure of how they would come out but think it works well to break up the blue. Super happy with how its come out 👍 roll on summer!
