I've been asked about the Speed Series cards for events sign in. I'll be sending these out to registred competiors by post before the first event. Just waiting on acceptance of our regulations by Motorsport UK. Any problems and I'll email a photograph copy to the member. Hopefully that's it covered.

Hi Guys. Some of our East Anglia group will be crossing the fen borders under the cover of darkness and visiting gbs for there cars and coffee meeting on the 9th march. If any of you want to tag along it would be nice. If you are a new member and not been to a meet before then it would be nice to see you also. 10am till 2pm. Would be great to meet some of the lincolnshire and midlands lads but dont shoot us for crossing borders 🤣🤣🤣 . Cheers martin

I’ve found half doors and wind deflectors a decent option to reduce buffeting and keep it a little warmer. It still restricts elbow room, but shoulders are not constrained.

Managed to do over hour ride - first time with doors attached Its for sure less cold inside than with Lexan side wind deflectors. Warm from heater is like "keept inside cockpit" , outside arm and shoulder not frozen . And a little easier to talk with passanger. But.. soo tight! lot of joy gone 😕 And dont know why ? - more exhaust fumes smell especialy in passanger side (exhaust is on driver side) , strange.

The Mondeo wouldn’t start this morning, so trusty Winston came to the rescue for dropping Lorna at dance and then a run to Waitrose. She wasn’t impressed by the lack of a boot! There are 16 cans of Fanta in that bag 🤣

Modules 1 & 2 from Westfield Duratec for sale. Purchased in 2006 and sadly barely started, has all components including body panels (racing green), brakes and limited slip diff. Stored in dry garage so all good condition and parts in plastic bags. Please contact me with any queries or sensible offers. Would require collection from Reading.

Found some “high” ground on the Somerset Levels today in the sun.

Had to use the weather window this morning! Quick meet up with Ben for a coffee and then to Donington to meet the Burton Classic Car Club guys
