  1. Cheeky little meet up at Curburgring! I was tip toeing on the way due to the cold and damp roads, but had dried up enough on the way home to unleash the VTEC 😂

  2. A fun morning at Curborough despite the cold weather. Lee and Steve joined us in their Westfields, quickly followed by Martyn, Dexter, Hedley, Rachael and Iain in their respective tintops. After a brew and a buttie, we got to watching the hot hatches, MR2's, MX5's and MGF's having fun navigating the coned layouts of the Autosolo. We were then joined by an old friend Ian who, after 8 years of owning an MK Indy had moved into classic car ownership last year. He had finally got his stunning Mini finished ready for this year's show season. Great to see everyone, feels like the season is properly starting now!

  3. I’ve found half doors and wind deflectors a decent option to reduce buffeting and keep it a little warmer. It still restricts elbow room, but shoulders are not constrained.

  4. Amazing what a bit of autosol will do. Before and after.

  5. Managed to do over hour ride - first time with doors attached Its for sure less cold inside than with Lexan side wind deflectors. Warm from heater is like "keept inside cockpit" , outside arm and shoulder not frozen . And a little easier to talk with passanger. But.. soo tight! lot of joy gone 😕 And dont know why ? - more exhaust fumes smell especialy in passanger side (exhaust is on driver side) , strange.

  7. Perhaps someone may pick a Sunday morning at a place that sells breakfast butties and hot coffee and post it up? If it then forecasts rain, postpone it until the following Sunday? Just a pointer, it really would be great to see 🤞

  8. The Mondeo wouldn’t start this morning, so trusty Winston came to the rescue for dropping Lorna at dance and then a run to Waitrose. She wasn’t impressed by the lack of a boot! There are 16 cans of Fanta in that bag 🤣

  12. @Rob Hunter - Club Secretary when we lost the AO we did that for a couple of seasons but even that withered from lack of interest I'm afraid. But of course there may be new members in the area now.....

  13. My advice would be to just start your own meets, that's what I used to do before I became AO 👍

  14. Nettleton Bottom, great name! Often head that way on a blat from Bristol, some nice roads and scenery. Likely that a few from our area, and probably other areas would join in with meets and outings if something did start up again around the Cotswolds.

  15. @Mark Jones it was in the Golden Heart pub at Nettleton Bottom (in the dip as you go from Air Balloon corner to the dual carriageway -so handy access for members from Swindon as well. In the past it has been held in pubs closer to Stratford - the one in Gretton was a good location I thought

  16. Where was the meeting? There must be a few of us close or in the Cotswolds, although it's a big area. I'm just South of Stratford.
