  1. The Sunday should be a good show day as it's running along side the Fast Show which is the Pods first big show of the yearπŸ‘ Saturday is a RWYB day so Β£40 gets you unlimited runs up the 1/4 mile strip😎 Sunday is limited to three runs up the strip as it's a big show. Need some competition see if you can better my 11.91 run!πŸ˜πŸ‘

  4. I have also fitted my halfhood today, but to drive with it I need to get rid of seat runners, as they add up approx 2cm and its too high for me with this roof πŸ˜• - poor visibility in front and touching hood with head.

  5. Come on guys get your entries in for the Mallory Park sprint in March being run by Sheffield and Hallamshire MC. I believe it's near 1.5 laps and promises lots of runs. This is the day after Cadwell Park so why not make a weekend of it ? You know you want to !!!!

  6. Hello All ( back in England for a short stay and borrowing Marks PC and account) Mark has been updating me on all your exploits and the success that you have all had over the years, not just in the SS but in some major championships - just what the championship was started for to develop an interest in motorsport and its fantastic to see - just to wish everyone success and best wishes for the years ahead. I'll be back to jolly France shortly - have a great season - Tom & Cynthia

  7. Not yet, that is some idea , I mean thought to make it from some fibreglass bar or sth like that. Even if not for not-touching my head, as You said for not flapping, as I assume in such roof type must be present. But - my eye level is still on upper frame ow windscreen. I constantly look above or below this frame . While If I sit in passanger seat (which I mounted without runners) its much much better. Also wind does not harm my last few hairs on head I have mounted those runners for situations if my Wife drive Westfield, but She love to sit as passanger and dont want to drive, My sons are already as tall as me, so max rear seat position is only what we used last season in fact.

  8. Great pic @CosKev what are you aiming for this year? I suspect your car spec is likely to have changed from last year.

  9. I started as a newbie last year, it is great fun. Have a look at my build blog you can see what I did in way of prep for the car.

  11. A local member is using this company to make a repackable silencer for his 220bhp XE engined car. https://www.stainless-exhaust.com Might be worth a call πŸ‘

  12. Plenty of people have modified boot boxes for the rear roll bar stays. If you search its been covered on here and in the magazine.

  13. I might be interested but not sure if it would fit my car. I've got a rollbar with the extra legs that go down into (possibly through) the boot area and also have a non Westfield fuel tank which might be higher then standard. I guess they just are held in with the seat belt fixings ?

  14. Hi Steve The Speed Series is a Championship for the WSCC which helps members get into Sprints & Hillclimbs. These are competitive timed runs under Motorsport UK rules at events all over the country run by Motorsport Clubs. Sprints are at Circuits / generally flat tracks, Hillclimbs are as they say driving up a Hill as fast as you can. So if you have done some track days but want to see how good you really are the this a great way to start in Motorsport. If some Speed Series members have got some videos to show a run that would be really helpful.

  15. Thank you Tom. It's had more reach than you might have imagined. It's now a generational thing. The Speed Series got me into motorsport which in turn fostered my son Alex's interest as he grew up around the paddock. He's a quicker driver than me but won't be competing this year as he's now working for INRacing and will likely be spending much of the summer around Europe and the UK circuits spannering and helping out the Historic Classic racing team.
