  1. The only Westfield in the village, disappointingly, but there you go. The usual mix of great company, great food and great driving was had in the Peak District today. It was ruddy lovely to be out in the car and it was even a comfortable temperature. The Cupola cafe, Stoney Middleton It's called Stoney Middleton for a reason, all the limestone cliffs are beautiful and provide a photogenic backdrop at the cafe Inside we all tucked in to breakfast When we sit outside in the summer there are climbers to watch, like the Eiger only on a smaller scale 😁. Can you spot todays offering Yes, so that is a lovely new venue for us to go to, there will be no chance of getting in there any later than 9.30am though because it is very popular. Thanks for coming @BillyPee and @Andy Westwood xx

  2. Please find as an attachment the 2024 Speed Series Regulations, currently Draft until approved by Motorsport UK. To enter please visit the Forum Store. Key changes :- Classes match a lot of the Clubs whose events we attend during the year. Scoring has been made relatively simple and hopefully easy for Drivers to leave an event knowing exactly what they have scored. There are a lot of Club members who have other makes of Kit car, you can now enter the main classes of the Championship A to F and there is an Trophy for the highest placed driver not in a Westifeld, called the Challenge Championship Winner. Overall the objective is to hopefully increase the numbers of Speed Series Competitors out there having some fun and enjoying the competition. The SSOT spent a lot of time trying to get this right and balance everything, hopefully we have got close. Any questions please ask here or PM me. Have a great season. 2024 V4 WSCC Speed Series Championship Regulations.docx

  4. We had a pretty good turnout this morning, must have been the temptation of stickers and hats! Thanks to @Colin H, @Nicholas Rycroft and Julie for coming over from the east coast in their Westfields. I would have come in mine, but it's stuck behind a broken Skoda. Good to meet you Colin.

  5. Link to enter the 2024 Speed Series is available below. Please read the form and all the information below it before filling it in. https://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/store/category/6-wscc-speed-series/ As is traditional, there might well be a bug in the packages that leaves you unable to see it or to enter. If this occurs, please message below and tag me into it so I can fix things - thanks.

  6. I have paid to support the club as I will not be able to score enough points to win my class as I intend to compete in class B and class E depending on venue and am not allowed to combine my scores.

  7. IIRC, it was £25 for years up until 2019 pre-Covid! With inflation, that £25 should be £32.09 today. IMHO, £12 seems quite a bargain, there’s not a lot you can get for that much these days.

  9. Sorry to bail this morning🫣, The roads were looking very wet and skies dark grey overhead early on! Looks quite dry at Stoney Middleton in your photos! I did manage to get out for a good couple of hours at lunch when the roads dried and skies cleared though😁 next time🤞

  13. Thanks to all who kindly sponsored me last year for the Great Manchester 1/2 Marathon. Yesterday we were able to present a great cheque to the charity. Sadly they need significantly more to operate each year with the great things they do. Further donations can be made here-Donate online
