  2. Well @Big Andy today will go down in history, how very hilarious, your timing was impeccable😁, so I think it is safe to say that we will see you and Debs on New Years Day at Carsington Water and you can tell the wider group the story😮 Everyone please remember you have to pay for parking when you are ready to leave site. ANPR will record your number plate and you have 24 hours to pay online, otherwise you pay pay by cash or card at the terminal. Currently showers are forecast for the morning so I have washed the MX5 today just in case but if we can at all get the Westfield out we will. Looking forward to it, see you all there😍

  3. These are pure quality. They are a work of art and worth every penny. Very happy. Super quality and nice and shiny finish.

  4. I made my own. Very simple and easy to do. Bit of ply the thickness of which determines the height of the finished article. Jigsaw out the required shape, lay the mesh between the two bits of ply and tap lightly. Simples 🙂

  5. hi Quinten, pls see photos below - note mine aren’t recessed back to top surface so think Kenton’s look much better, but needed some as they were missing. I reckon this year I’ll change them now I’ve seen these. 👍

  6. Keep your eye on the Apple Store, they sometimes have a multi buy offer on the Tags, and they will Laser engrave them with an ID too!

  7. Sorry, they were so easy to make I binned them. There is no guarantee that the holes have been trimmed the same on each bonnet. I also found that there was a slight difference between each side. All the best Kenton

  8. No sorry!! I used cardboard to create the dimensional template for the finished aperature. Then drew them out again with 10mm overlap to allow for bonding. Then transferred to the mesh & literally cut with decent scissors. Then turn the bonnet over and wearing work gloves started to hand-form the mesh around the apertures. Then simply put them in place & weighted them to prevent movement. Then used “sticks like ****” to bond to bonnet. Honestly was a simple process & the mesh forms easily by finger pressure. If I was to do them again, I’d probably use plywood templates (as Kenton did) to rebate flush to the outside of the bonnet panel, as I think his look better than mine. I’ll take a couple of photo’s tomorrow if mine.

  10. Yep, had the issue on my old car. fixed initially by wrapping the end of the lec=ver with (insulating) tape, later replaced with a bit of heat shrink. Ultimately sorted out by changing the grub screws and using a little screw lock. The typical problem is the Ford and better quality after market levers have a hardened surface, so the pointy style grub screws can't dig in and grip.

  11. I had it and cured it completely with new grubscrews. Can't recall if I bought ones with a different head though (and I'm not taking it off to look 😜). But you can buy flat headed and cup headed ones

  12. For Sale is my Father's Dacia Sandero Stepway 1.5dCi Laureate. Sadly my father has passed away. He bought the car pre-registered with only 10 miles on the clock from the Dacia Renault Dealers. The car currently has only 19,500 miles. The car is in excellent condition with full service history, and is currently registered to myself (currently stored in a garage), but in reality has only had one owner. The car has a reversing camera, rear parking sensors, DAB radio, hands free, electric and heated mirrors. Optional extra spare wheel. Also I have a pair of roof bars for it. Road tax is £0. The car has only been used for driving around the shops and the local area and occasionally to Wales. Looking for £8,000 o.n.o.
