About time I introduced myself. I picked up my first Westfield back in June from a member on here. Since owning it just been out enjoying it as much as I can and now the weather has turned its time to give it a good cleaning and over haul. Gareth

Jupiter at opposition at the moment so at its biggest and brightest. Amazingly I had a clear night last night and had some excellent views. The Great Red Spot was on show, always good to see. I managed a quick shot with my phone through the scope. Will look ok on a phone, view it from a distance on a PC otherwise it will look very grainy.

I did know an OBO when I grew up in Coventry, also into bikes… assuming your a different guy then hello and welcome. Great club this is. I’m just down the road in sunny nunny. Cheers, Ian.

Thanks Rob, I've only been in Atherstone (Mancetter) 7 years. It's a nice little market town still with a great high street. My brother lives in Swadlincote and I used to live in Overseal after moving away from Brum. Regular @ Huggy's. also but mainly on the Bike. Thank you for the warm welcome. Very much appreciated. As a kid I lived in Warton so know Atherstone well.... 30 years ago I was a manager at the old Lloyd's Mancetter site, my ex-mother in law was Headmistress at Racemeadow and in my miss-spent youth enjoyed many a pub crawl and lock-in at in the Clock, Sweeties, Berties, Three Tuns, Wheatsheaf, Red Lion, Brannigans etc 😂 @Martyn Vann - Warwickshire AO is your AO (in Tamworth) and I'm only in Swadlincote (I run the Derby & Notts Area) and we do loads of meets local to you (Curborough, Huggys at Mallory, Donington etc) you'll be more than welcome to come along to👍
