  1. Hi, A few local WSCC members along with a couple of mates with other kits/track cars are doing the Javelin Trackday on Sunday. Numbers are still changing (due to weather watching) but the guys are expecting to have at least Ben in his MNR Vortex (R1 engined), Michael in the MK Indy (Hyabusa engined), Ollie in the tango Pheonix (R1 engine), James in his M135i etc. There will also be a few extra members as spectators/passengers so plenty of people to chat to. Weather looks good so hopefully they'll get some decent track time. Sadly I cant make it (5 hours of travelling to Harrogate and back in thr diary!) but if you are out and about and fancy taking advantage of the free spectating then please feel free to go along. Sighting laps start at 9am with the track closing at 5pm.

  2. Just introducing myself to you Guys & Gals. Name is Russell but most folk call me OBO (Long story). Have been a member since 2022 but have just purchased a SEIW from @Rednop1 so thought I had better get some cash out and pay for membership. Great site and ton's of information. Got some plans for the car including change of colour. Whittled down to Powder Blue/Baby Blue or Emerald Green & Gold stripes. Still mulling. Dash change on the way also as I don't like the contoured dash. Will share some pics as I go along as we all like a piccy. Regards everyone. OBO

  9. Just taken out my insurance with Howden's and have to say it was a great experience. Spoke to Paul who was extremely helpful with great advice and a smashing way about him. Wish I could pick up the phone and speak to my gas supplier as easily as I have spoken with Howdens/ Paul. Just putting my experience out there. Obo.

  10. Well to be strictly accurate, and at the risk of sounding pedantic πŸ˜‰, the Panhard rod stops the chassis moving sideways in relation to the axle. The tyres, through friction on the road, stops the axle moving sideways!πŸ˜‰πŸ˜„ Sorry, couldn't help it.
