  2. I've had this pic of last night's meet, from a source who didn't wish to be named- My source also revealed there's a good reason no pics of any Westfields on the carpark have been posted. Let's just say I'm disappointed 🤦‍♂️

  4. I have a BJ Race Shuttle 2 model 300-1011 ( tilt bed) for sale, it was purchased from Trek Trailers 14/03/2022. My intention was to use it as a mobile garage to store my car at a second home we have. Due to changes in circumstances it has never been used and to date has only covered 100 miles. It has a couple of extras with a manual winch and adjustable wheel stops. I’m looking for around £8250 for the trailer. It’s currently stored in a compound in Liverpool although my location is Widnes. I have all the purchase documentation and hand books. pictures now added.

  6. As an old fart I've had both flu and Covid and the only effect was a sore arm for a day.

  7. They try to get me to have it as the system has me labelled as Clare’s carer. She doesn’t get one offered as the system says she got better. Thought I’d clarify as I don’t want you to think that I am old enough either!! Hope you get better soon.

  12. I will try and measure the garage then, as I would quite like to still walk down the side of the car ( main tool area at rear). Oh and thanks about holding the roof bit up, I did wonder what happens when you open the door. ETA Yeah Size 3 reg for me also, off to Carcoon.Forget that just asked for a custom price, I really need the space at the back of the garage.

  13. Mine is a Size 3 regular. It’s longer than necessary but the width is better than the Size 2. In theory they do custom sizes but I didn’t get any joy when I requested one. Height wise, I can open my standard garage door over the top of it which makes life easy. I actually have it attached to the roof beams so that I can go into it when it is deflated. I tie the top section up so I can drive the car out quite easily.

  14. Running costs are very low; £10 a year according to this. The fans run constantly to keep the air circulating within the bubble. When you first put the car in, if it is wet you open the vent on the back end of the bubble and the fans then go into a higher powered drying mode. Once dry, you close the vent and they reduce speed just to keep the circulation going. The Carcoon also comes with a trickle charger to keep the battery topped up which I always use. I believe that if the power goes, the fans run off the battery until the power is restored. They are very low power so don’t drain the battery. https://www.carcoon.com/faq/

  15. Radio first in 1978 on radio four then tv in 1981 The story i like about 42 is when mr adams was a studio manager (did the sound mixing on a radio programme ) on a friday afternoon the sound staff would be writing out their timesheets for the week . because of the 24/7 nature of broadcasting the pay system had payments for nights mornings long hours but the first magic number to get was 42 hours because after that you got overtime .

  18. I'm now with Octopus as have solar & battery system and they seem to do the best tariffs. Reasonably pleased, certainly better than OVO who just wanted to take massive DD's all the time. Does seem like they have really gown recently and that's bringing problems. The App seems pretty good, but not perfect. My so called smart Gas metre hasn't talked to OVO or Octopus, it's anything but smart. So I just take a reading every month, a bit annoying and hopefully one day it will get sorted.

  19. I can't shut him up now , bit like me, lol. "A lot of the blind people bring there familys along . The Porsche uk club and jag club and a few rally cars come to do passenger fast laps for them. The best part is we have the track to our shelves from 9.30 to 10.00.to practice our sight lines and braking points. And when the day is over at about 3.00. The manager give us free range of the track . But he does say don't do anything think to stupid.ha ha. Has there are no marshal then. Just hope the weather is ok.which I think it is."

  20. Beat you to it, the joys of whatsapp, lol. He works odd hours ( for obvious reasons) , ah as I was typing he got back to me hang on, "Hi Rich. I usually recommend the DVSA app. It's about £4.99. There are a few cheaper ones or even some for free. But the DVSA are the governing body who do the tests. So all the questions are on there app.and the hazard perception clips." ETA More on the app - "The app is very good. You can do mock tests and it explains the answers if you get them wrong. You have 50 questions on your test and have to get 43 to pass. There are 1200 questions to pick from on that app. Then on the hazard perception test there are 14 clips each clip is marked out 5 points on that you have to get 44 points out of 72..you have to pass both tests on the day for a overall pass."

  21. Getting close. Thought 38 would be plenty!! If the ‘maybes’ all confirm then there is only a couple of spaces left!! Then I’ll have to start a reserve list 🤪. Bring it on. 😁

  22. Ah, you as well. Until a couple weeks ago we were coming up. That was before I woke on Wednesday with shivers and a throbbing ear. Hoping to shake it off but currently laying in bed, watching Rugby and drinking water. Ali is downstairs with a glass of red….
