  1. Got the westy ready for Harewood hill climb, early start tomorrow takes 8 hours to get there from here. Note my artistic slant on numbers, can never get em straight.

  2. Nothing really to add, just a reminder as we head towards the darker evenings of Autumn, that this thread is here, as is the whole WSCC family. Remember, you never know what other people are going through, so be kind and look out for each other. Mental illness is an illness just like any other, its time we loose the stigma, its 2023 not 1893!

  4. In case you are wondering what to do on Saturday 16th, it’s the Great British Sports Cars coffee morning. Usually a good turnout of mixed cars for all to enjoy and the parts shop is going to be open! I’m planning on attending but don’t know which car - depends on the weather and the wife!! @Martyn Vann - Warwickshire AO and Sue are also planning to come. Hopefully see some of you there!!

  6. Finished installing a rear view mirror in my exige. Due to intercooler rear vis is zero- so electronics come in to play 😁

  7. Inspired by @AndrewBClarke's great 4 day blat over the weekend. I decided to head out early yesterday(before 6am) and ended up covering 397 great miles over 12.5 hours (I did stop in for Coffee @CosKev) on the way home). First half of the run- Thanks to @David Bennett for sharing a route he'd done earlier this year, which formed part of my morning. I particularly enjoyed this part- 2nd half of the run- Looking moody over Snowdonia but not a drop of rain fell! Craig Goch Dam Lunch break- Pen y Garreg Dam The Dam baguss fan club- Damn reversing! Mainly light or no traffic. It's probably the longest I've driven in a Westfield in a day and it didn't feel like a chore. Though I did sleep well last night !

  8. AiB perhaps, they're a sponsor, too. Found them very reasonable, though to be fair, only used them once. I've had such good service from A Plan, most of my insurance is now with them. Sorry you had a negative experience. AiB web site

  9. Thanks for the update, I'm kind of getting used to the Howden branding from seeing it on things like Tyrrell's Classic Workshop.
