Just a bit of rain as we arrived at the Strines, but that soon went. We lost a few people thinking it was going to be worse weather, just shows that you can't believe the weather forecast. The 4 Yorkshiremen left the Strines and went to the Carding shed for a look around, then on to Holme Moss, where the power of @TonyR his V8 left me behind, leaving @Marcus Barlow - Show and Events Co-ordinator feeling frustrated behind me. I had some rain going through Wakefield, but had a t shirt on all day, not bad for September. Must do it again.7 points

Oh wow, I have had my first view of the new Westfield Baseball Cap, I had heard about them last week but today I got to see one in the flesh. I love how the Union Jack has been incorporated into the design, not many manufacturer's can do that these days, so aren't we proud to drive a British built car ๐ Who better to wear one than builder of 3 Westfield's @Stu Faulkner. Our Chairman @Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman was also wearing his but I wanted to include Ethan's cute little face in the photo, hope you don't mind Dave. 9 cars met at McDonalds for a quick brew We took the almost direct route up to the Ladybower Dams with just the smallest of diversions to incorporate the Surprise View road into Hathersage. We got a surprise view though when we arrived bang on 11 am and everyone was already there. The Cheshire, Manchester, Yorkshire lot, Chris and even Barry on his motorbike, wonderful x Here we are parked up at The Strines Inn @Steve Bosworth took some photo's with his drone that really capture the setting of this pub, ones for the calendar those, Steve. We got a bit of light rain and some scorchio sunshine, what are you supposed to wear in a Westfield for these conditions? We had a good tyre kick and chat with the Yorkshire and Manchester crews, it's so great to see everyone all together and so many cars out, especially given the weather forecast. In true Peak District style we took a lovely route back, going through Bradwell, to our new found cafe in Baslow. It is normally very quiet here but today there was a cricket match on and you know what that means.....cricket balls๐ฎ๐ฑ so we hid behind a big Land Rover We all enjoyed our lunch Until it was cake time, with 2 Andy's round the table competition would be fierce But just check that last photo, sneaking in from behind is our clear winner, Ben, with a massive slice of chocolate cake, clearly bigger than the 2 Andy's It was yummy cake too๐but it needs ice cream with it next time ๐ So all in all we have had yet another great day on good roads with great views to some fabulous places and with lots of wonderful people, thank you everyone.7 points

Iโm currently roasting a chicken and considering If Ali deserves her normal two wings. Today whilst she was away from the main table I was told I am the spitting image of Carlos sainz SNR. Ali returned and said she always thinks that I look more like the man from the Dolmio adverts. I think she needs new specsโฆ6 points

Thanks everyone for another brilliant Westfield day. Typical English weather so got a little wet on the way home! There appears to be a Strines jinx with regards to the weather. Had to dodge a couple of โnormal carsโ who had broken down in deep puddles whilst driving a ground hugging little car with a shower cap on and no doors ๐4 points

Yes, me, it is the same as today - a chance of thunderstorms - I will take that as it just got hotter and nicer as the day went on today. Paul, you can be the first one to feed me those exact words if we all get wet tomorrow ๐2 points

Has anyone checked the weather forecast for tomorrow? Here Strines area I ordered a new radiator from Autodoc as recommended, the email address is .co.uk , but the company is German and the rad comes from Berlin so I didnโt hold out too much hope. Instead today I started making some new garden gates, when the rad arrived ๐ Meanwhile gates on hold and back in the garage, rad fitted and off for a test run. All is well and ready for tomorrow, as usual no response to my posts, but if itโs dry in the morning we are coming ๐1 point

Unfortunately I can't make it on Sunday. My youngest is joining the Army so we're dropping him off at Harrogate. I'll put the shout out to the Derby Notts gang ๐0 points
