Making the most of the lovely weather I took the Westfield to the vets in Matlock to pick up Broadline for our cat. Any excuse for a birthday blat.

The Strines Inn, Sheffield, S6 6JE at 11am. Who's coming? We can set off at about 10am for a nice run over the Woodhead pass and back by the Snake pass. Let me know if your coming and where from and we can arrange a meet up place.

Not a Westfield but a fantastic bit of kit. I hitched a ride in my friends Fiesta ST240 tonight at Donnington Park, I think my insides are still somewhere near Redgate Corner!

That's very quick! I managed to muscle the Westfield around in a 1m24.4 with a passenger last week but I'm getting to the extremes of my meagre talent 😂

The fastest guys seemed to be doing the Donington GP circuit in under 1:47 if that's any help?

Less than two weeks to go and the final details for the day have been released. For those that know Colchester the start line will be at the town hall and finishing at the bottom of high street near the castle. By my calculations that’s 200m so shorter than was originally billed but is the steepest part with an elevation change of 6m. No news yet on the course design but I’m expecting a couple of jumps and a chicane. I guess we’ll find out in the day. BBC Essex are also proving race day commentary and there’s three big screens to watch the action. Final fettling of the soapbox is being done, sone basic testing was completed by pushing around the garden and rolling off the trailer ramps. obligatory race car driver stickers fitted

Lapping 1:23 with me onboard. Low 1:20’s on his own but the car is down on power. His team are trying to sort it, he’s back tomorrow night for further testing

I would think it should be doing the National circuit in the low 1m 20's looking at the laptimes the ST240 does elsewhere. That will definitely feel quite rapid especially as a passenger! We were there last week pretending to be racing drivers ourselves 😂

Hello Everyone, I'm Gavin and my first post to introduce myself. I've been lurking in the background since September last year, but I've finally gotten around to fully joining today. I got my Westfield (first one) back in July of 2022 and I like to get out in it as much as I can, covering approximately 5000 miles. I absolutely love driving it, such fun! I'm based in Nottingham (just off junction 27) and pretty much since I got the car, I've been 'lured' into Rob's Notts & Derby group where we have an absolutely fantastic bunch of people. I look forward to getting involved here and catching up with some of you face to face.

That looks rapid! @HB46443 had a passenger ride in a Ginetta G55 race car at Donington last week and looked quite pale when he got out too 😂

Set of on Saturday with a mission Aberdeen to John o groats, and home again set off at 9am and was home at 920pm , that roads were made for a Westfield ,488 miles not bad for one day

Good question Ash. Perhaps ask on some of the relevant for sale threads or tag the seller in on here. I'd personally prefer to buy from someone who's known in the club etc and being able to see this history on the forum (questions, problems, upgrades etc) is often useful. As you rightly suggest they're missing out on a lot! Perhaps some don't know about the club until they go to sell their car?

What a shower this company is. After selling them on our Forum I sent my Race Overall's using them and guess what. Despite all the correct labels and insuring them they got lost in Transit. After hours of trying to use their horrendous website to claim my money back £125 plus postage and insurance so far after 7 weeks I have got nowhere. you cant speak to anybody and their complaints email seems to get lost and nobody replies. Their "system" and I use the word loosely ask you to provide proof of non arrival even though their own tracking system shows it as "IN TRANSIT" so I had to get proof from the recipient that he had not received it! Then they want evidence of the fact I sold it and at what price plus the original price I paid. At every step their review period of 5 to 7 days each time says they need more evidence. I have threatened to take them to the small claims court and even emailed the CEO of the company asking for help. His was response was to say he was no longer the CEO but thats not Companies House says !!. It's like Robbery. I do not know how they get away with it. Please spread the message so nobody else has to suffer what I have gone through.
