I'd gotten a great exit out of McLeans and was 5mph up at the braking point and locked up.... I could either attempt the corner and spin, or bleed as much speed off as I could and go the scenic route 😂

ETA at Newark will be approx 12 noon so you might have time for a couple of extra sausages for breakfast 😅

A couple of laps with @Alex Gaskin riding shotgun. My fastest lap of the day in wet conditions on semi slicks (R888R fronts and Kumho V70a rears) of 1m35.3s followed by a scenic trip to one of Leicestershires finest beaches 😂

I didn't even know there was a Mrs Matt only met Matt's sister 'Chatty Nat'. Whatever the facts are Matt, hope you have a fantastic time - I'd strongly recommend the awesome Tarn Gorge to anyone that gets close to the Millau Viaduct.

Fantastic, have a great time! France is great for Westfield driving, and in the South in particular, there are some amazing roads.

Hi, Following the great time we had on Tuesday (despite the rain!), we are already planning the next one! Four of us have already booked onto the track evening at Donington on 30th August 2023 so far with more to come. If you fancy joining us remember you can do it through the Javelin Trackdays site and take advantage of the WSCC members discount and save a few quid 👍 None of us are hard-core track fiends, we just go at our own pace and have a chuckle. Spectators are free and have access to the garages and pit wall if you just fancy coming along to watch. Obviously not an official WSCC event so please make sure you sort your own insurance etc. Hopefully see some of you there 👍

With the Newark Kit Car Show coming up this weekend, are there any Speed Series competitors that would be able to come and display their car to help advertise the Speed Series a little bit? Doesn't need to be a polished show car, just having at least 1 car down would be a step forward in trying to keep the Speed Series alive!

I managed to get 10 cars booked in for todays show at Walton, Wakefield, however we only managed 5 Westfields and 3 interlopers! Due to mechanical failures and illness, to miss quote Meatloaf, 8 out of 10 ain't bad. Fortunately the weather stayed kind to us.
