Arriving back at Tagg Lane for the debrief. When is a Westfield not a Westfield, when it's van. It was raining, what vehicle were we supposed to come in? the MX5 is awaiting clips after an altercation with a field at the weekend, so the van it was. First over the finish line was Andy, he was also the driest! I hope that is rain ingress and not an egress The cakes flowed in true Peak District style And ice creams too Drying off Bye bye What a fabulous, soooooper, exciting time you guys have had. A big thank you for sharing your photo's and stories with us so we can taste just a little bit of the best flavour, excitement!7 points

Evening, feeling a little out of place as I don’t have a Westfield. (Hope that’s okay)I have a Luego viento which is under construction. A bit about the car gm ls1 bmw 8hp70 transmission haltech r5 vcu turbolamic tcu ic7 dash ford 7.5 quaife diff I met some lovely people at the kit car show who were kind enough to show me around their car and let my boy Levi play on the driving simulator. would love to meet some people down in the south west with a general interest in all things automotive. I may regret saying this but I also have a built in ramp (see images) at my house in Exeter which I would be happy for others to use once my beast is road legal. look forward to meeting some of you matt3 points

220 miles under the belt today on route to Germany somebody was having a laugh first thing spot the party trick 🙃 the route took us on some barely new tarmac !!! stopped for lunch on the outskirts of Paris unfortunately we were split up on route to the hotel (no blame mentioned 😂) but all eventually rendezvous at the hotel with a tricky car park ramp to negotiate 😅2 points

Welcome to the reluctant sale of my Navy Blue 1999 SEIW 1800 Zetec! Sadly, I have other priorities in life just now and the Westie has to go. It's been brilliant fun for the past 4 years, and hopefully the next owner can enjoy it as much as me. I was the 2nd owner and the car has been really well looked after, only showing the kind of wear and tear you'd expect after 24 years of fun. It was factory built and all paperwork has been retained. Since purchasing the car, I have modified it to change from an underslung exhaust to the side (was absolutely necessary for any road driving in my eyes!). Original carbon silencer exhaust kit and manifold were used (bought direct from Westfield). Just last month, the original front brake calipers have been replaced with genuine Westfield parts, plus pads (to get it through MOT - expires June 2024). With swept wings, it is currently on a private plate, which could potentially be included as part of the sale if desired. It's a beautiful car, so will be very sad to see it go. Most spec details shown in the images, but any questions, please just shout. Has done 18,500+ miles. I am looking for £9,000 (reduced from £9,500 on 11th Aug) to break even on it. The car is in Basingstoke and you can call me on 07879427377.1 point

From sunny Somerset. That’s an intriguing beast you’re building to say the least. There are a few Westfield owners in the south west. The Dorset area meets find members rolling up from Devon, Somerset and Dorset. We (Dorset Area) have a display area (10/12 cars planned) at the Historic Vehicle Gathering at Powderham Castle this coming weekend, virtually on your doorstep if you’re interested. Let me know if you come along and I will keep an eye open for you. Info here: https://historic-vehicle-gathering.info/1 point

Hi rob, great to hear from you. Yep will be a bit of a handful with the ls1. The haltech will be working hard to keep traction! Hopefully the transmission will make it a bit easier in those slippery days.1 point

Sun was shining and I had some spare time to give her a wash and take some more pictures I even went for a drive with the wet weather gear attached. I looked like a gymnast getting in and out but the higher roll bar meant the roof cleared my head fine (5' 11") although it did drum a little bit at speed 😄1 point
