I would like to wish all my freinds have made over the 20+ years as WSCC member 16 years as the Lancashire AO a fond farewell, my membership is up for renewal and have decided its time to move on, I have my Honda S2000 and I plan to get a few jobs done on my Focus RS Mk1 and put her back on the road, should have more time now I am retired. Elena and myself have had some wonderful times in a Westfield, 4 Coast to Coast trips, a fantastic trip with Manc's area to Spain and France, Scottish trips with the Lancs area, the Lanc's Manc's and Yorkshire area meets in Skipton and not forgetting the Manc's v Lanc's rivalry in the annual quiz night at the Green Man, especially keeping Hurdsey quiet was amazing🤣🤣🤣 I plan to keep in touch with some very good freinds I have made over the years Adios Amigos Steve11 points

1994 Toyota 4AGE 1600cc 16v SEiW Originally built by a professional engineer who was linked to Tyrrell Motorsports. 2nd owner purchased in 1999 and tuned the car for fast road use and occasional track days. Paul Morcom purchased in 2008 and prepared it for hillclimbs and sprints and competed in the 2009 WSCC Speed series where it was Class A and Overall Novice winning car. I purchased the car in 2014 as my first Westfield and I have never competed in it but instead tinkered with it and used it as a weekend toy, adding less than 5000 miles to it in that time. The car is an excellent starting point for first Westfield ownership or as a project car (see advert below), I just don’t have the time to spend on it as well as driving it! The car has a full history and copies of all receipts from original build plus photographic record of the original build. The 4AGE engine was tuned by Raw to 168bhp (Cams, lightened and balanced flywheel, engine blueprinted, head polished and ported, race pistons, delortto carbs and OMEX OMEM 500 ecu). Also previously tuned by Mech Motorsports. During lockdown I converted it to fuel injection, replacing the Dellortos with Jenvey ITBs. She now has the following spec: Jenvey DCOE Twin 40mm Throttle Bodies Open diff Widebody 'Kit' body shape with detachable rear arches Protech suspension set up by Track Developments MSA roll bar (I have the RAC bar if the new owner would like it) White Revolution 4 spoke wheels Toyo TR1 tyres all less than 500 miles old Toyota gearbox. Lovely short shift. Brand new custom fuel tank (Read the post about it here: https://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/topic/138486-fuel-tank-design-any-suggestions/) Brand new Sytec fuel pump and regulator Carbon Fibre boot lid (not currently fitted) Lightweight fiberglass bucket seats (seat runners not fitted as I'm too tall for them, I can refit for the new buyer if desired) White VDO Royale gauges. Tall windscreen (from the Sport 250) Flatbottomed momo steering wheel Willans 4 point harnesses Spa wing mirrors Repackable Exhaust Braided fuel lines and anodised AN fuel fittings. New drive shaft (Dunning & Fairbank) CTEK Bluetooth Battery monitor Engine rebuilt in 2016 after bottom end bearing went. Valve Stem seals, Cam seals and cover seals all replaced. Top milled flat with new 0.8mm TRD gasket. Bottom end crank bearings and piston bearings replaced. Cylinders honed Cleaned and repainted everything in silver enamel. New NGK sparks, alternator and starter motor. New oil pressure sensor Additional parts (to be Included but not fitted): • Westfield rear carbon stone guards (not fitted yet). • Standard Westfield chrome roll bar • Full wet weather gear (for the original windscreen and standard roll bar, so unlikely to fit) • Driver side seat runners • Standard Windscreen (cracked glass) • Spare speedo cable • Original Bootbox • Spare wheel (not revolution) Starts, runs and drives brilliantly and I still do drive it, but don’t have the time to complete these project items. • Bootbox could be fitted or Carbon Fiber Boot lid needs fitting • Windscreen is fitted but needs siliconing in. • GRP bodywork is 29 years old! • Sump oil leak, nothing major but could do with new gasket/sealing. • Gearbox oil could do with replacing.... filler bolt needs replacing (I have one) • Brake fluid its old and needs replacing • Battery tray or improved fixing needed. • Arch protectors need fitting (new carbon ones supplied) • Quick release steering boss has never worked • Wheel alignment & tracking – I replaced a wishbone after bending one... • Tuning – I replaced the fuel injectors after the last rolling road session, it could do with another hour or so with a tuner (I used Day tuner in Harrogate) MOT till 5 April 2024 I'm happy to take anyone out in it or answer any questions. I'm in Harrogate.2 points

I fully understand your tough decision, we’ll all be sad to see you go, but believe it or not, there is a life outside of Westfields. So get out there and enjoy it👍 best wishes for the future to you and Elena.1 point

Think this car used to be in Gloucestershire. If so it was a cracker when I knew it and looks very much the same now.1 point

I’m thinking of selling my early SEIW as need a new knee so won’t be using it for a while and can’t bare to see it in the way and not getting used. It’s been a labour of love from when it came to me from long term storage after original owner build died. 2.1 Vulcan Engineering Pinto on R1 bike carbs, dynoed and rolling road set up, total loss electronic ignition, carbon Exhaust, it’s on Q so visible smoke only and no issues with emissions at Mot time New body as old one had too many stars in gel coat, carbon dash, soft bits hood, new carpet, JK carbon faced seats with pads, 3” harness, removable Alpha steering wheel with 8 channel freewheel for remote start, lights, horn wipers, all Led lighting, carbon dash. JBW Ford replicas with 225 13” Avon ZZR, new fully adjustable shocks and springs im near Colchester do have a carbon half doors and trim panels I haven’t fitted as yet that can be negotiated thinking around £82501 point

Brilliant day out today, but must admit to feeling like a boil in the bag MRE when I got home 😂 I'd brought along my neighbours son for a ride out, he's a massive motorsport fan (and decent in a kart) so jumps at the chance of a ride in the westie. The day started in the usual way for me, meeting strange men in a car park.... luckily it was just Ben and Gary so after a quick chat we headed north 😂 Gary had wimped out and brought his MR2 rather than the MEV Rocket. The MR2 is actually quite a quick motor for a hairdressers car (we're sure it has Wham! on repeat on the stereo 😂) due to having the 190bhp T-Sport engine transplant and kept up surprisingly well. We then picked up Rich and Casey at the Co-op in Wirksworth on the way through. I'd got chatting to Rich at Curborough a few weeks ago and had invited him along to try the WSCC lifestyle... despite this being his 4th Westfield he'd never joined the Club, hopefully we have convinced him 👍 It was that warm at Quackers, everyone was getting their tops off 😂 Rich's car is quite a quick beast, with a 260bhp turbocharged XE and was keeping up with my Honda and Ben's R1 MNR quite nicely, it's certainly got a load of mid range punch! After brekkie and a chat, we headed on a @Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative magical mystery tour to the Bird Cafe for lunch. Suitably refuelled, we headed home down the B roads of Derbyshire. We despatched a load of Sunday afternoon dawdlers and bikers, making brisk progress before we caught a modified M140i on one of my favourite roads. The guy obviously saw us coming and so we had a few minutes of twisties fun before he realised the futility of it all... we scooted passed him and disappeared in the distance! No doubt he'll be going back for a new remap quite soon 😂1 point
