  5. Another great night: @Russ Bridgewater & @David lear joined me for a dry run across to the Golden Pheasant. We were shortly joined by @Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman sounding like an A380 on take off, meanwhile @Andy Wallwork and @Westie66 were inside 'processing pies' and no doubt suitably embarrassed as neither had pedalled their Westfields the short distance to the pub. Next to arrive was @6carjon in possibly the 7th car and also not in his Westfield! He was shortly followed by @Greenstreak-Andy D who was happier than a 'pig in 5hit' because he's successfully recorded engine noise on his Insta360X2 action camera using an external mic. Finally @CherryTreeFW joined us and we were able to view his recent cold inlet air mods to his great FW Zetec car. We were also joined by @Nomad who is still shopping for his first Westfield. We also met a pair of 'Jockenese' lads who were staying in the pub overnight prior to a track day at nearby Oulton Park, in their Porsche 997 and an M3 track car, who were interested in our cars and us in the descriptions of theirs (they weren't with them). By 9pm, Russ, Dave and I decided to head for home and hopefully miss the forecasted wet stuff. We had a few drops but certainly not enough to soak us to the skin and didn't ruin a great evening.

  10. Hi everyone, Hope you are all well and looking forward to another bank holiday weekend. Just wanted to let you know that we are updating the parts shop and in particular the clearance section on a daily basis so please check it out for some bargains. If there are any parts that you cannot find please let me know on parts@westfield-sportscars.co.uk and I can look at getting these added for you. Thank you for all the feedback we have received and if there is anything at all i can help with please get in touch Kind regards Jase - Westfield Chesil Parts Dept

  11. Was a fantastic day and weather held up for most of it. I fancy 1 of them Jam Dognuts now that I turned down twice hahaha. Quite entertaining the last hour with a mildly moist track lol.

  13. With a bit of luck I will get out once more before it goes. I had the full intention of being a regular for yours and Glen's runs out, but it just seems never to come together with kids needing to here and there etc...😞 you both do a super super job 👍 Ultimately I would keep it but apparently 5 cars are too many 🤣

  19. So after hanging on for redundancy which seems like it will never happen and becoming more and more grumpy and discontent with my current job after 15 years, I've applied for a job very similar to what I do now as a Automotive Technical Author but on Agriculture machinery/vehicles based in Warwick. Passed the initial stage with the recruitment person and have just had an 1 hr 10mins Team meeting with 2 managers and all seemed good and relaxed (not what I'm used to being owned by an American Investment company!). Fingers crossed for the 3rd and final part🤞.

  20. Thanks, I was 31, and as you can see it the weather was a bit unpredictable on the Sunday, odd bit of drizzle now and again. This was my first event and I had a great time, learned a lot. Top tip don't make a timing strut out of ABS, it snapped off on my first run. Had 40 mins to fabricate a replacement using an alloy plaque from the gift shop, bolt, cable ties and duct tape. Big thanks to the marshals who lent me a drill and tin snips.
