  1. On Sat 1st April and Sun 2nd April the Speed Series will be at the Anglesey Circuit sprinting on a different layout on Sat & Sun.. There will be about 20 of our drivers giving it the beans. There is a big paddock and spectators are welcome. There is plenty of space to camp/use camper vans as well as a cafe/bar. Spectating is good and the scenery next to the sea is nice. Hope to see some of you there. Anyone interested in sprinting, hillclimbing or the speed series who need to know what to do will find meeting up with the Westfield drivers very useful

  3. Thanks for the feedback and photos, I'm looking forward to the event. I've had a look at the virtual tour and it is a much larger collection than I was expecting. I hope the "work" event is suitably short!

  5. Looking at selling my Westfield XTR4 reg no VX53WBE. I’ve owned the car since 2012, but for the last couple of years it's barely been used. So time to move on. I bought the car from Nick Algar at Playskool motorsport after he had rebuilt it. I think Nick is still around in Westfield circles. Specification for the car Westfield XTR4 as built by the factory as their demonstrator. Nitron suspension AP 4 pot front callipers Audi 1.8 Turbo engine previously putting out approx. 275 BHP DTA S60 ECU, with 2 switchable maps Audi gearbox The bodywork is in good all-round condition and Just had new Toyo tyres all round, new front pads, rear pads and callipers. Bolt on/off Cat for MOT. I’ve had the car maintained by Bogg Brothers, including improved gear linkage, replacement turbo pipe, new hand break cables. Various receipt for work by Bogg Brothers that I can share with anyone who seriously interested in the car. MOT’d in September 2022. And not been used since. Currently SORNed. I also have a spare XTR2 nose cone in matching orange, spare set of wheels with fairly old track tyres, and a few other spares like coil packs etc. Will include all these in the sale for the asking price. Looking for £19,500ish. Last XTR4 I’d seen for sale was something like £23k and that was a couple of years ago. Car is located in Horsforth, Leeds. Garry 07598237432

  8. We enjoyed it so much, that we did several laps of the ring round trying to break the gravitational pull and get to our Ferry on a rather warm (>30 degrees C), day. The others will be along to advise they thought I was lost 😉 I hope you enjoy the visit and we'll look forward to your pics. @nikos called in recently and it was nice and quiet at this time of year.

  9. As well as the good words from @Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman it was heavily biased towards French cars, as you'd expect.

  10. Yes, we stopped there on the way back from our first Alps trip. Sadly the visit was cut short by the need to make a dash for the ferry. It was reasonably sized, compared to some of the smaller museums we found on trips to France. It was interesting and I'd like to have spent longer. But it's not somewhere I'd personally travel hours off track to visit. But then that's where every ones interests differ. A lot of what they had on the ground floor especially, were vintage (Continental) European vehicles from the early days of motoring. The upper floor more recent offerings, (but also where we had to cut things short). It's always interesting to see the none brand specific car museums in Europe, and the different angle on things you get from the local equivalents of our long lost motor manufacturers. A same but different experience. Parked "out front"

  17. Hi All, I'm very pleased to report that I have 12 names on my list for March 25th. The table is booked for 1pm, so please try to arrive in good time. If the weather is fine, I suggest we assemble in the car park so I can introduce myself. If for any reason you are now unable to attend please let me know. I am also waiting to hear from a couple of you about having a passenger or not. Many thanks, Barry
