My ex would have had it covered in fake diamonds and crystals and stuff as well as pink. Probably would have had those hideous big plastic eyelashes on the headlights too π«2 points

Midlands you're spoilt for choice - Mallory Park, Donington Park, Castle Combe (careful of noise), Silverstone - All good circuits for beginners (and experienced) within easy reach. Llandow - good run off and can be fun (bit flat) Pembrey - decent run-off (flat) Snetterton - good for beginners, but bl**** miles away π€£ Oulton Park, Cadwell Park, Ty Croes (Anglesey) - excellent circuits, further to travel and perhaps need a little more experience. Croft - a long drive oop north, quick with decent run-off Brands Hatch - can take hours to get there and back with the M25 car park Blyton - flat, decent run-off for beginners Three Sisters - kart track Knockhill - great fun but a very long drive Lydden Hill - next stop france and a bit zzzz2 points

There is a regular classic car meeting at this venue on the 4th Sunday of each month, the next one is this Sunday the 26th of Feb 2023 This is the hotel where the late Queen famously got stranded in the massive snow drifts in December 1981. I was also not far away, stranded on the M4 at junction 18! Ah great times π Although it's a classic meet all sorts turn up including from time to time myself and a few mates in kit cars. It's free to attend and the hotel lay on bacon rolls, tea, coffee etc for Β£6.00, but it has to be cash so if you decide to come don't forget your money £££££ It starts around π£ 8.30am officially but in good weather can be already quite busy by then. The very large car park often fills up completely. Weather forecast is looking half decent for this Sunday so I may pop along I think. 1 or 2 of the guys from the WSCC Bath and Bristol WhatsApp group MAY also be attending I think. If anyone on here turns up please look me up and say hello. if the weather turns out to be dry and not fffffff-freezing cold π₯Ά I'll be in the Flying Carrot, my orange Westie on a 14 plate with a full cage. If not I may be in a tin-top or my bed π On the same day there is another event about 11 miles away cross-country via some of the roads that surround Castle Combe race circuit. Some of the attendees may blat off to that one also I reckon. This is the M4 Karting Classic meet at Hangar 88, Hullavington Airfield and runs from 9am til 1pm officially. Both of these events are listed on Facebook if you need more info. A chance to see some beautiful classics while having breakfast and a chat. Last time the bacon rolls were excellent! πππβοΈβοΈβοΈ If people are feeling like even more fun then I guess there is always the opportunity to blat off somewhere else afterwards, my favourite trip from there is to AV8 at Kemble/Cotswold Airport but unfortunately atm they are closed on Sundays. Cheers everyone!1 point

Ah, got it. Thank you. In my (feeble) defence: on my android mobile the options are a click away and not as obviously displayed as your screenshot shows π That's my excuse anyway. Thank you!1 point

You could post in events, here: https://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/forum/67-local-area-meets-events-kit-car-shows/ When planning a run, there's nothing wrong even, with posting in the Start Line, especially if there's not much advance warning. Whereas, after you've been(!), for the bigger trips, here, is the place to tell everyone about it and give advice on places to visit, routes to drive, etc. https://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/forum/100-places-to-visit-and-road-trips/ Also, look out for any nearby local Area activity, (though I suspect where you are is quite close to one of the Areas we're currently looking for a new AO for.)1 point

Llandow without a doubt is fantastic for beginners. Not too fast but fast enough, plenty of bendy bits but also a very easy to learn track that is great fun. Plus they tend to ignore noise tests π1 point

I keep it washed and ironed in my suitcase, so I donβt forget it π1 point

If that shirt hasnβt been washed yet, it could probably walk by itself wherever it needed to go. Seems to now be a bit heavy though, looks like you have to lean against a pillar and spread your legs just to be able to stand up.1 point
