  1. A big thank you to all those that attended. As many of you will know, it is customary for us to hold a raffle and / or auction in aid of charity. this year was no exception and the charity was 'Make a Wish' which specialises in making dreams come true for terminally ill children. Between us all we managed to raise a total of £460 on the evening. A big thank you to all who donated prizes including sponsors A Plan, GGR Communications, Triple M Motorsport, Force Racing Wheels, Northampton Motorsport. Well done everyone.

  3. Very, very, well done to all our amazing award winners, and a super job raising money for Make a Wish at the same time.

  4. I'd email TPLink on the... er... link I posted earlier. They offer a 2 year warranty which you're out of but they still might be encouraged to help. Sale of Goods Act still applies as well

  6. Just to update everyone, Simeon Cattle, the General Manager at Westfield Chesil has sent me an updated press release with where they're up to and the plans for 2023 as they currently stand. It's great to see amongst many, many other things, some familiar faces have been retained, which will help bring knowledge and experiance of the brand, through to the current company.

  7. New Mofast V8 bonnet vent professionally primed & painted in gloss black. Bought as a set from Mofast, but only ended up using the two smaller vents, so this is going spare. How does £30 sound.

  8. Thanks @jaykay42. I guess we are all different and actually working towards a target does motivate me. However, much like you, what I am actually chasing is to feel better in myself, not to be constantly aching and to relieve the pressure on my back and avoid getting diabetes! I did manage to lose weight successfully before lock down and it felt sustainable then, however lockdown did for me so I need to do it all again. I felt SO much better before, and that’s what I need again.

  9. Good afternoon, @fatblokestu Was great to see the pics of your outing! Regarding the scales... It's obviously horses for courses, so being driven by targets and numbers may very well work for you. However, if we're honest the only thing worth chasing is a "new" equilibrium where you're happy with how snug the seat fits around you and an effort that you can sustain forever more. Anything else is either pointless because too unrealistic to achieve or you're not contend with (i.e. a target weight too low or still too high) - or it is not sustainable for life. Frankly, deciding on this realistic equilibrium based on numbers on a scale wouldn't work for me. It's far more about how contend I feel in myself. Does a mirror have some input, yes. But it's not the deciding factor. (I don't even own scales). Just a thought....

  12. Fun meet up this morning despite Curborough's micro climate (i.e. always cold and windy! 😂). I arrived to find Ash, Ben amd Hedley already there. Ash lives very close to the Curburgring so had come in his lovely crossflow engined narrow body car, Ben has further to travel (and the MNR is having some winter upgrades) so came along in his new Caddy. Hedley had also braved the cold in the supercharged beast. Michael turned up shortly after in his 288GTO replica. Gary was having fun on track in his MR2, and I managed to snap a nice casual racing driver pose between runs 😂 Curborough always attracts some lovely cars at any time of year... This Puma Racing is locally owned. It was a barn find in early 2022 and has been restored over the last 12 months, not bad for a £5k purchase! An E30 M3 Evo III is always an unusual sight. Owned since the 90's, its a beautiful example that's actually driven regularly rather than parked up as an investment 👏👏 Love the period AC Schnitzer split rims 😍

  13. Over the Christmas break I found some time between eating turkey to start a few of the smaller jobs. Although MSUK regulations don’t allow me to run with the moveable aerofoil I nevertheless wanted to make a small section that could be used to demonstrate its operation when displaying the car. I’d had sone laser cut profiles made so these were welded up painted and then skinned in aluminium.
