  1. The de-icer at the ready in Quacker's Cafe car park Frosty so we waited a whole minute for Rob and Hedley to arrive before going to the 'warm' cafe 'Warm' is a relative measurement. The cafe was warm compared to a Westfield at 60mph but you could see your breath in it!! icy windows at the cafe The steam on Rob's coffee was a welcomed extra source of warmth We chose not to sit outside at Quacker's cafe 5 Westfield's, very impressive for a sub zero January day, hat's off to you unhinged lot White does make a lovely background don't you think Everyone came on the run out which I kept to the big main roads. Billy in the Tesla was kind enough to go on ahead and film us, thank you very much Billy. We headed up to Owler Bar...... and Surprise View..... in a circle back round past Chatsworth House where Hedley and Rob peeled off for home as we went in for lunch and cherry and almond scones It was good to see Andrew had washed his car before coming out today Parked at Chatsworth with Billy in the Tesla space age car, the sunshine came to visit for a moment Thanks for coming everyone, I can't believe you did! We may not be out next Sunday as I expect to be without a windscreen, it all depends on the glass company, have fun, stay off the ice and see you very sooooon xxxxx

  5. So after the pre Christmas mishap at donnington I spoke with various people and weighed up my options 1 new carbon nose and bonnet but this is post brexit now so a major cost or euro trip to collect 2 glassfibre with a carbon wrap, nae the same but a lot more cost effective. then where from as no westfield parts dept….. so after speaking with Paul at mofast and forgetting about Christmas/ new year I placed the order for said nose and bonnet, 2 weeks into the new year and they’re ready so I arranged to take the Friday off work and headed down to Doncaster for Saturday morning collected the panels and headed northwards again stopped Saturday night at Bamburgh and visited the castle, up this morning and after a great breakfast headed home. 850 miles lol but great service as always from Paul and the quality of the panels is excellent , but now my dining room has eau de freshfibreglass 🤣 so hopefully between other commitments a couple of weekends should see them wrapped and fitted and the other “upgrades” done

  9. I'm pleased, and slightly surprised, that my package arrived today here in Bozeman, Montana, USA. The attached photo is how it arrived. It seems that the bag material might not be up to the task and it's easy to picture that it would tear and make a mess in the sorting machines along the way. But I have the mag and calendar and my wife is happy that I'm "Mr. May"! Just as long as she doesn't start with "Full Monty" jokes I'll be OK. So my name can be taken off the list - thanks so much for all your hard work. dave
