  1. I bought myself a Google Pixel 6 Pro recently, specifically for the Astrophotography mode. This takes 4 minute exposures when the camera is held perfectly still ie tripod mounted. I gave it a go the other night, looking though my 4” scope. Pretty amazed by the results on the Orion Nebula!

  2. Selling my Westfield 11. 2 previous owners, 1200 miles, put thru it’s Iva test with Westfield themselves. Lots and lots of paperwork including full history of the Mg midget donor. Lots of optional extras on car such as bullet mirrors, front anti roll bar, wilwood brakes, alloy bell housing allowing 5 speed gear box. 1275 a series engine refreshed and mildly tuned when removed from donor car. correctly registered in 2016 as a Westfield 11 on v5 please call for any more information Lichfield-staffs Dave 07836 22 55 06

  8. Oh wow. That’s remarkable. It’s exactly how it looks in my imagination Did the phone do the tracking or the ‘scope? I did look at making a phone adapter for my ‘scope but never got round to it. Perhaps I really should.

  14. Great views from Wokingham in Berkshire this morning. Blooming cold, but worth getting up for. Just had a little scope with me but viewed at x200 for when the planet slid behind the Moon and then reappeared an hour later.
