  4. Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year to all our Club Members; Its been another interesting year, in Westfield world, let’s hope 2023 is just a little less interesting. Hopefully we should see the new Westfield Chesil Ltd opening it’s on line doors in January, with the bricks and mortar equivalent not far behind! We will look forward to arranging a get together at the new place as soon as practical, (and the weather allows)! We had some fantastic runs and events last year, with more of the same to come in 2023. There’s the fantastic Silverstone Classic, (now named the Festival), a new location for the National Kit Car Show, at Malvern, and the Newark Show settling in nicely. Looking forward to meeting and driving with you, and wishing everyone a wonderful Westfielding New Year! Dave

  6. You lucky people. Choose from the following. Tuesday 27th, run out to the Ponderosa. Thursday 29th, breakfast at Chocks Away. Both runs will include a few miles around the fabulous Welsh lanes, after the compulsory bacon breakfast, so you have a choice, or, if you’re super keen, why not both? Start venue for both is the Tudor Rose, on the A540, near Two Mills, meet at 9.30. Wrap up warm.

  8. I may move this event at Quackers to Thursday because the weather looks very wet for Wednesday. Please watch this space and I will update again tomorrow evening. (Please note the New Years Day event is on regardless of weather because if it is wet we will swap cars to the MX5 and there will be no run out. If it is dry we will go in the Westfield and do a run out)

  11. CCleaner free version DEFINITELY cleans the registry. Been using it for years. However it doesn't open on the Registry cleanup page. On the left you have to select the Registry cleanup from the menu. Here's the opening page (just did a fresh download) On the left choose the Registry... The scan for issues. Once the scan is complete click Review Selected Issues. It will offer to back-up the current registry. I always save that to the desktop. Once that's done you can now fix the the issues by clicking Fix All Selected Issues Once done close CCleaner and reboot. As you can see, no subscription request was seen, and this has worked the same way for me for many years. Make sure you have the latest version of course...
